I watched all his games. Kinda an ASU fan. He’s bursty.

Doesn’t exactly bode well for NoShow Vaughn.

Thanks for the input. I haven’t watched any of his games. Good to hear.

I'm surprised Licht passed on Isaiah Spiller, the kid from Texas A&M who is a proven commodity and was expected to already be off the board at this point. Not sure what the fuck his end game is here, especially considering this is the third time in five years he's drafted a RB on day two of the draft. But him passing on proven names for guys a lot of fans never heard of is gonna eventually bite him in the ass if his picks don't pan out.

Im looking for a the tape of an ASU game. I remember it was a day game. Which means it was probably an away game. White destroyed and looked very fast. Faster than a lot of his other tape. Brb

I can assure you neither Licht nor the Glazers give a fuck about your opinion on these picks. The only thing that matters is production and Licht has a Super Bowl to show for his drafting.

‘Proven names’ in the DRAFT. You gotta love it.

Nice cut.

Easy to see how they could like a guy that caught 40+ balls last year. No idea if he can pass protect, but if he can, seems like someone Brady would like having on the field.

Feels like a replacement for Bernard, and maybe a better runner.

NFL.com had white at the 15th RB spot.

5.99 grade - Average Backup Or Special-Teamer

4.48 40
38 vert
125 broad

JUCO kid. Transferred to ASU.

Overview: Running back with size and senior year production, but the tape is more average than exciting. White is a tight-hipped runner lacking desired lateral agility and burst after changing direction. He has a tendency to be slowed or stopped by first-level tacklers but is a more natural runner once he gets up to the second level. He fails to show enough creativity to escape the "gets what is blocked" tag, but he does run with adequate vision. His lack of breakaway speed and limited special teams background won't help his chances, so he needs to shine early in camp to give himself an opportunity to make a team as a RB3.

I agree with this assessment from NFL.com. The impressive stuff I remember did take place at the 2nd level. That’s a fact!

This is the game I was remembering. Two years ago. 0-1:10. I think that was a game where he pretty much took the starting job from Chip Trayanum.

Seriously you don't know why? Arian's in the past said you don't draft or trade for players with the same skill set of what you have. Isaiah Spiller is the same kind of back Fournette is. Thus we aren't drafting a slower power back. We got a kid with juice who can get around the corner. That's not surprising and why many mocks has us picking Rashaad White.

Though I liked Tyrion Davis-Price better overall this pick makes a lot of sense. This is exactly what the doctor ordered for the Bucs. A 3rd down specialist right away that can catch the ball and make something. And a guy who can actually break those creases you see LF always fall short of.

Strengths
Impressive production as full-time RB1.
Three-down workload of carries and catches.
Desired size and build of an early down running back.
Patient runner reading his block development.
Easy transition from reactive to aggressive when finishing runs.
Can stack cuts when maneuvering around linebackers.
Locates the tight crease and squeezes in near the paint.

Weaknesses
Works in "slow-and-go" mode when changing directions.
Too tight-hipped for abrupt lateral/diagonal cuts.
Play speed needs a boost.
Too quick to quit on play-side run track on stretch plays.
Allows disappointing success rate on first tackle attempt.
Below-average contact balance to careen and continue.
Too inconsistent to be trusted with protection duties.

Looks shifty and quick enough. We already have our shoulders down guy, so spiller didn’t make sense.

Serviceable vision, decent speed, very good hands, and great ankles.

You can trust my analysis, I watched a highlight video.

Dude is going to bust hard in the NFL.

Not knowing anything outside of this video; I like his patience on his jump cuts. A little L. Bell-ish (steelers version).

It'll be interesting to see how he plays out.

I will say, if we were to go rb in this draft, I was hoping it was going to be rd 5 or 6... which gave me hope that it possibly would be my neighbor, J. Corbin.

Lol.. the guy strolls into the endzone, gearing down 15 yds out and you question breakaway speed?

He was making cuts up ~10 yds from the LOS before he could fully open up.

Maybe he doesn't have break away speed, but this isn't the clip to use for validation.

Dude is getting mixed reaction. Lots of people love him (Licht and Leftwich included it seems) and lots don’t. I do like that he seems to bring a skillset to the table that Lenny doesn’t. Hopefully we find a way to get him involved and he turns out good for us. Our record with drafting RBs since Dunn has been pretty bad though, hopefully White bucks that trend.

This one is a bit worrying, the more you read. on the bright side, we’re going to know pretty quickly if it was a decent pick. Let’s hope it works out better than Vaughn, who we had zero reason to believe in immediately post draft. His hands are promising. If he can become a reliable pass protector, we have our third down back with potential for more

KWIII is a better pure rusher and the bucs passed on him in in the second round. They could’ve just valued hall more, but I think there’s a RB skillset they were targeting.

Dougie didn't get caught from behind at Boise State either.

It's more of a reaction to his running stride. I'll back off of this if I see something different. It's just one play.

Well after 700 plus yards with Oakland it was over on the field.

No. He will see the field more on special teams than in the backfield.
