Buccaneers Media

Post by Primeminister »

I’ll be posting “In the Current” (ITC) and “Below the Surface” (BTS) videos here. The Buccaneers media team has dropped a trailer for ITC & 2 BTS videos. If you find any other media produced by the Bucs please share it here.

If you’re new to the ITC series it’s like Hard Knocks for the regular season. This current run will be covering last season’s playoff run. BTS is covering our current off-season as it is unfolding.

For the record I believe we have the best media team in the NFL.

The BTS videos are tracking our current off-season. The second episode shows Brady’s return. I haven’t watched either yet, but I expect them to be good.

Thanks for getting them in one convenient place. I always see them in passing on IG or whatever and then lose track.

Pats buddy of mine started following us for Brady when he took the ship. He would agree that our media folks are a cut above.

The next “Below The Surface” should be fun now that we know BA is retired. I want to see what they put together.

Thanks. I’m a Bucs junkie like the rest of you so I know it’s easier to just find it in one place and discuss as well.

This is phenomenal. So much good stuff. Loved an injured SMB coaching up Mike Edwards, and then Edwards getting two picks. Shows the side we don't get to see that even hurt players are contributing.

Right? Different side of SMB than I’ve seen before. Hope he takes the next step this year, cause kid has the right fire.

PM - do you know how often these bad boys are getting released? Need that hit!

I hope so as well. He was looking good against Dallas, picking up where he left off in that playoff run in 2020... then he got hurt. It's safe to say injuries derailed the entire 2021 season for this team. Week in, week out, they never had the same 11 guys on defense or offense.

It showed the mental side of SMB’s game. I love seeing that camaraderie between the two with SMB getting just as excited to see Edwards make a play. He wanted Edwards to believe in the work put in and it paid off.

When we attended the second Bucs v Falcons game last year I saw the same type of coaching from Sherman. Whenever the defense was on the sideline the DBs would gather near Sherman to ask questions and go over the last series. It was awesome to see this type of coaching from players.

I cannot wait to see how they cover the AB nonsense. Do they gloss over it? Do they cover it, but in a "we quickly moved on" type of fashion? Or do we get to see what the rest of the team did on the sidelines during that debacle?

I’m going to assume that’s the episode everyone is waiting on. Mrs PM said the same thing during Episode 1 “Ooooo I wanna see how y’all cover the AB thing!”

The Buccaneers Video/Social Media teams are the '96 Packers are Video/Social Media teams. I wish I could tip them or something.

I agree 100%. I've seen lots of highlights from different teams. Some were professionally done, some not, but no one puts them together as well as the Bucs media team.

The next In the Current is up and it’s a banger. This is weeks 10-13. For those who lost count that’s the WFT, Giants, Colts & Falcons.

I'm still salty over that WFT loss because that's the game I went to.

I've been to 2 Brady-led Bucs games and they lost both (Rams in 2020 on MNF was the other).

Common denominator. Someone take Buc2's ticket away before he ruins another season!

Do you recall those animated short clips the "main" site used to create before the games? I loved those. Many of them were quite clever. Wonder what happened to that group? Must be part of that "coming next fall" group.

Ha!

I do plan to attend a game in Tampa this season. Waiting for the schedule to release to decide which one. I'm hoping this 3rd time will be the charm and I get to witness a win.

That was the genesis of my Buccaneer media love. Those things were great. They were hype videos, but at the same time, they were silly and creative.

Hey, context be damned. Any time the wifey pays special attention to the nuts, that's a score.

Same here. I think 🤔 first joined in 06 or 07 simply because of that link on the official site after watching one of these videos.

This week’s In The Current is up. I haven’t watched yet, but I think this will be a rough one with the Saints and Jets games.
