Buccaneers win total for 2022-2023 season

With Tom Brady calling it a career and the Buccaneers QB situation turning back in to the usual dogshit that it has always been. This roster has some talent on the OL and at the WR position, however, it is largely talentless on the defense side, what do you all think the win total will be next season? I say they go 7-10. Brady covered up the inadequacies of the coaching staff and the glaring holes on defense.

Still too early. The GM might say fuck it and acquire one of these good disgruntled QBs. Unlikely, but we don’t know yet. That sort of thing changes the equation.

My gut is telling me that 9+ wins is out of the question as things currently stand. Potentially much worse.

If we get a decent veteran QB and re-sign some key players then I think 9-10 wins is possible. I can’t see more than 5 or 6 wins if Trask is the QB.

* Resign Godwin
* Tag CD3
* Resign Cappa
* Resign Gholston
* Rookie or low tier iDL for Suh
* Bubblegum and paper clips at RB/TE
* Lose Jensen and play Hainsey at C
* Lose Whitehead
* Gabbert is QB1 for 5 games then Trask for 12

1-4 to start
5-7 to finish w/ Trask

6 wins w/ Trask doing enough to make us feel ok about starting him in his year 3.

There's too many variables right now, most of which can swing our win count either way. After free agency and the draft we should be able to make more educated guesses.

Like everyone has said, it's still too early. Without even knowing what our roster going into the season will be, this is at most simply a sort fo poll on your faith in the coaching staff and front office.

In which case I say 11 wins.

Panthers were really gunning for Watson and if he makes it to Carolina things just got a lot tougher.
