He'll have his chance. But Mahomes and Allen have been doing this for a while now and are paid like the elite QBs they are.Bahamian:bucfan wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 9:43 pmI'LL add the qb from the Bengals to that list also.King Bootz wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 9:35 pm
These 2 QBs are the future. And that's no disrespect to any other young QB

Followed up by the Bills allowing the Chiefs to march down and tie it with a field goal in 13 seconds. That is worse than the Buccaneers.

Never count Patrick Mahomes out.
Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
Your opinion does not change the fact that @Bahamian:bucfan added him to the list. After all, you as a fan, don't know shit.King Bootz wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 9:45 pmHe'll have his chance. I was thinking about this a few minutes ago..........I think this is the best/ most competitive/ exciting/ etc weekend of playoff football I have ever had.
And that is not me being a prisoner of the moment!

Shouldn’t have kicked it into the endzone?

All 4 games have been amazing for different reasons. I don't disagree with this point at allBahamian:bucfan wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 9:46 pmI was thinking about this a few minutes ago..........I think this the best/ most competitive/ exciting/ etc weekend of playoff football I have ever had.

I agree. As a Buccaneers fan, I would have preferred a last-second win by the Buccaneers.Bahamian:bucfan wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 9:46 pmI was thinking about this a few minutes ago..........I think this the best/ most competitive/ exciting/ etc weekend of playoff football I have ever had.

Bills might not even see the football.
Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
This is frustrating and I’m not even a Bills fan. Always someone open.
Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
Tackle Hill. The Bills have looked as bad as the Bucs tackling Hill.

Wow! I would have preferred the Bills.to win BUT what a game!
Wow!
Wow!
Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
They have missed tackles on Hill all game.
Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
Amazing game. Amazing. Both defenses were incapable of winning the game. These games are proving that the defense no longer wins in the playoffs.

Patrick Mahomes showing he's still the best of this generation.
Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
I’d like to see what Allen could do in that offense.
Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
Given how both QBs were playing if the Bills had won the toss Mahomes might have not gotten a chance. You keep doing you making stupid statements though.King Bootz wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 9:57 pm Patrick Mahomes showing he's still the best of this generation.

Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
Really need to change the overtime rules. Shame to see that game end without Allen and the Bills getting a chance. Would say the same if it was the Bills winning on the opening drive.
Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
As upset as I was about the Bucs loss, they didn’t want this KC/Buffalo smoke.
Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
Kudos to both QBs. That was probably the best NFL game I can remember.
Shame on the Bills coaching staff for allowing KC to score in 13 seconds.
You have to squib it and eat up a few seconds. Get it down to 10 or 9 seconds. Then 2 plays ends the game amd doesn't allow a 3rd play to kick the FG.
Bills coaches fucked them. Just like the Bucs. But the Bills atleast played great and deserved to win.

Fantastic game for the new era of football. I'll leave it at that.Dread wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 10:51 pm Kudos to both QBs. That was probably the best NFL game I can remember.

3rd time getting it....Yes...I'm triple vaxxed. Shit sucks.

Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
Bills had all the chances in the world. Stop Mahomes with 13 seconds. Stop Mahomes from getting into the endzone in OT.Pirate Life wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 10:18 pm Really need to change the overtime rules. Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
Except they are not unless you only believe there is one facet of football.
Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
While they are not utter shit, as you point out, I believe most would agree to a college style overtime in the playoffs. I know all of my friends do, and the coworkers I talk to about sports as well.
Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
IMO, the current OT rules are so gimmicky. Imagine an extra innings baseball game, top of the 10th, visiting team hits a home run, game over… WTF?!?!?
Play a full period (10, 15 minutes, whatever). That’s the best way to do it
Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
3 of the 5 major sports have gimmicky OT rules.
Football - as discussed.
Baseball - runner on 2nd to start the inning. It is now theoretically possible to lose a perfect game.
Hockey - I'm not really a fan, but from what I understand, the old school fans do not like the shootout.
Basketball - keep playing
MLS - OT? FOH
Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
But you don't like perfect games in baseball I think that was just experiemental for the COVID seasons and it'll be back to normal going forward...I could be wrong.nybf wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 7:45 am3 of the 5 major sports have gimmicky OT rules.

I don't get why hockey does the less men on ice thing, eventually, no matter 3 on 3, 5 on 5, whatever, there's finality with a SO.
I absolutely hate that both teams aren't guaranteed to touch the ball in OT in the NFL, it just makes no sense whatsoever.
Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
What percent of drives end in TDs for even the best offenses? 20%?

Re: 2022 NFL Divisional Weekend
I think slightly under 52% of teams that get the ball first win in OT in the NFL.
Seems pretty fair.
It's funny, the Chiefs lobbied for new OT rules after their playoff loss the the Patriots and no other team backed them. Now they were on the winning side.
