Congratulations to Tristan Wirfs. He's the 1st Buccaneers Olineman in team history to make 1st team All-Pro.

If Wirfs figures out Cam Jordan, he’s invincible.

But seriously, amazing for him. HOF trajectory!

Aaron Donald is the best DT ever right?

3× NFL Defensive Player of the Year (2017, 2018, 2020)
NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year (2014)
7× First-team All-Pro (2015–2021)
8× Pro Bowl (2014–2021)

He’s 30

Without question. We're moving to the point where an argument is made for him being the best defensive player ever.

We had Luke Rhodes on our roster at one point iirc.

Well, that all but seals it for Rodgers winning MVP. What a sham. Closest a Bucs QB will ever get to winning MVP and it gets stolen by a bunch of idiot votes that clearly don't give a shit about anything but a few stats.

If Bootz doesn't even dare go contrarian on it, case closed.

If I'm the Glazer family, I lock Wirfs into a long term deal this offseason. Do it now before his play makes his price skyrocket.

He's not eligible for an extension yet. His price tag has already sky rocketed. He's the best RT in football at age 22. He will be expensive.

Extend Wirfs when able. Give him a lot of the money that would’ve gone to Devin White to be terrible.

I'd assume that despite a "tough" year (He made the Pro Bowl Pro Bowl Alternate and got All-Pro votes) that Licht will pay DW as well.

Diggs' selection shows they only looked at his INT total. While it was impressive, he gave up a ton of catches and yards. 45% of the passes going at him end up as first downs or touchdowns. A.J. Terrell likely should have been 1st team and Diggs second maybe, but arguments can be made either way.

Disappointing that the All-Pro voters didn't look deeper. Diggs has been picked on in coverage this year. He gives up a lot of passes and big ones.

Disappointing but not surprising. Interceptions are used as the metric for "good DB play". The last time a player had as many INTs as Diggs had this year was 1981. Diggs was gonna get that selection regardless.

I believe they are eligible for an extension at the end of their second year. I could be wrong.

Here's your all-pro center vs Vea yesterday. Glad we have him locked up, he doesn't show up on the stat sheet as much but damn he just wrecks things.

I’m pretty worried that someone will offer Wirfs a chance to show himself as an LT and make the money that comes with it.

The chance of Wirfs wearing another uniform is less than zero between now and 2030. Think Antarctica negative. Short of major injuries or him losing his mind like Arron Sears.

The Bucs will be paying Wirfs huge money on his next extension. Maybe he plays LT, maybe not. Someone like Nobody probably can speak to this more, but idk if the LT/RT divide means what it used to mean.

I don't think it does. The days of "your best pass rusher goes over here" and "blind side" and all that are over. Pass rushers come from everywhere now, and it means (almost) just as much to let the QB see your pressure and move him as it does to sneak up on him. Tackles are often left without much help, so it doesn't matter what side they are on. They have to be able to win a 1-on-1 with a legit pass rusher.

I got killed on Pewter Report back in 2013 for saying he was the man to draft (they took Evans instead). “It was a reach to take him at 7.”

It’s not like there’s much regret involved as Evans has a HOF career in the making himself, but man oh man.

We already had McCoy so we didn't need Aaron Donald.

Love Evans, top 5 Buc of all time and hope he has several more excellent years here.

But playing the what if game for fun, say we draft Donald instead of Mike, Kept Michael Bennet and drafted Keuchly instead of Barron the 2 years prior along with David we may have had a defense to rival our 99- 02 teams.

How many SB wins does anybody other than ME13 have… I think we did alright.
