I do like Georgia in this one, as long as they can keep Alabama from too many splash plays. If they frustrate and stymie Alabama's offense for too long, Saban has a tendency to panic and take risks. That's where you can insert the dagger, and Georgia has the playmakers on defense to do it.

So I'm going with Georgia. Also, I really want anyone except Alabama to win, so that leaves me with Georgia.

I'll take Bama. They're just more explosive in the passing game. Unlike almost every other game Bama has played in for the past 5+ years I don't think they have much of a talent advantage, but they they have a significant edge at QB and that will be the difference in this game imo.

But I love this Georgia defense along with that true freshman they have at Tight End #19. Best young college TE I can remember seeing. Can't believe that kid was in HS last year.

my alma mater is usually lumped in with these elite teams when people are talking about the upper echelon of CFB. honestly, I don’t think they’ve been close to this good in like 7+ years. SEC is just better.
