Re: 2021 National Championship - 'Bama v. Georgia
Random mdb-like question:
Is either team markedly younger than the other? I know Ohio State is struggling to replace guys who are leaving as RS sophomores and stuff. Dual edged sword. Get amazing players but they take off if good.

Bucs on line 1
Re: 2021 National Championship - 'Bama v. Georgia
Does it matter with a Saban-led Alabama? They will get a dozen new 5 stars every year.

Re: 2021 National Championship - 'Bama v. Georgia
If Kirby manages to lose this game to Saban, he may commit sudoku.
Re: 2021 National Championship - 'Bama v. Georgia
This will come down to a 2 point conversion won't, it?
Re: 2021 National Championship - 'Bama v. Georgia

I just tuned in early 4th quarter. Why does this sound like a Georgia home game? Did that many fans travel from Athens or do people simply hate how great Bama is?
Re: 2021 National Championship - 'Bama v. Georgia
Wahahahaha!!!!!

No way in hell Kirby Smart is 46 years old. In a million years I won't believe he's 2 years older than Tom Brady. Don't buy it.

Welp you will be seeing him play on Sundays in the future so never bet against him. His story is fantastic and honestly, that arm tho.
I said what I said
Re: 2021 National Championship - 'Bama v. Georgia
I have only seen SOME of his earlier games and wondered about his timing and target selection.
Saw him get yanked vs Fla 2020.
Saw him in the 2021 SEC championship against Bama.
I never checked his backstory until now.
Great Stuff.
Awesome perseverance…
5’11” and lacks the arm strength needed…they SAY.
Looks like heart won out.
Kudos.
Good to see Saban humbled.
But…
Too bad Williams wasn’t there for the finish.

Hopefully you're just kidding if you think that Georgia QB (Stetson Bennett) will make an NFL roster, he won't. To be charitable he might make a practice squad, but that's even a remote chance imo. But he has a great story and it's really cool to see an underdog story like that have a great ending.Babeinbucland wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 12:55 amWelp you will be seeing him play on Sundays in the future so never bet against him. Don't feel too bad for him, he'll be royalty in Athens, GA for life.
Re: 2021 National Championship - 'Bama v. Georgia
Kudos to Georgia. It's been a while since Bama was not the most physically imposing team on the field. I still think Bama wins if either of their top 2 WRs are able to play, but it was great game and UGA deserves the credit.
Georgia wasn't going to let Bryce Young sit back in the pocket and carve them up again so they they blitzed him relentlessly all night making him throw on the run or backpedalling. Despite the constant duress Bryce Young played pretty great outside of the that last pick 6 when in desperation mode trying to tie the game down 8.
Gotta love how Georgia won it all playing old school football. Aleast two TEs on most plays running alot of power concepts on the ground w/ pulling Olinemen. Some easy play action off that to create some open space and deep shots.
That RB #3 for UGA is nice. Quick and powerful.
Defensivley, that front 7 is as good as I can remember in college football. Just massive up front with multiple guys who can rotate in. It's not easy to win the LoS vs Bama or make them look like the smaller team, but those UGA Dlinemen looked like they were in a different league.

53 man regular season active roster with any NFL team in any week 1-18 would be the terms. I wouldn't even go as far as him even actually playing in a regular season game or "seeing him on Sunday" as you phrased it.Babeinbucland wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 8:54 pmQuoted for posterity. That said I'm not interested in a wager with a WELCHER like you. I get that was politics and you're a nutcase, but you still welched.
I'll say that IF Bennett makes it then good for him. You can say 'I told you so', which would be a first.

What the fuck are your hysterics about now? I have NEVER EVER not honored a bet on this board or any other. You are high as usual and can fuck allll te way off and when you get there fuck off again. You, like so many of your ilk all think you can just make stuff up and scream it loud enough and people will believe you. #truthmattersDread wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 9:13 pm53 man regular season active roster with any NFL team in any week 1-18 would be the terms.
