What do we do with him though? We have LeVeon Bell that does what he does(Same skill set, you don't want him running, but both plus in the passing game). Does Gio just take over, or we do we pretend our OC is creative and use both(maybe on the same play).
If Gio can go, use Gio.

Bell looks cooked. He's contributed the bare minimum as expected and hasn't impressed.

Byron Leftwich is trying to get a better job somewhere. The easiest way to fuck that up is using Le'Veon Bell and Gio Bernard on the field at the same time and calling it "creative".
I totally forgot about Gio, I thought he’s injured or something

Yea Arians has already said he’s doubtful for the game. I mean it did come from Arians, so take it how you want. For all we know Cyril could be running suicides for 2 hours before and after practice.

I'll say it again, we cannot allow them to dictate this game to us by allowing them to control the clock and end up with a huge TOP on us.

Forecast for Sunday is going to be windy and rainy. Do you think that helps or hurts the Bucs chances?

Makes it more of a neutral field. Likely won't be as many fans in the stands. There are thunderstorms forecast so we'll see.

We don't run the ball much so I imagine the short passing game will be in full effect. This would be a great game to have Godwin & AB. I think we'll miss them both but will still get a win.

It’s Florida weather though? It could be rainy for a half hour then clear up.

Predicting Florida weather is like predicting PA weather in the middle of April. You could get all 4 seasons in an April week.

Don’t be worrywart, Tom Brady always play well in bad weather. Snow or rain

The $200k per playoff win was already in the contract I believe, but those $200k bonuses had to be initially triggered by a snap count/playing time incentive of 65% of the defensive snaps for the regular season, which Suh was barely under.

So the Bucs just removed that 65% requirement which unlocks/triggers the potential to earn those $200k per playoff win bonuses.

It's a smart incentive for a guy like Suh, who has always been his best in the biggest games dating back to his days at Nebraska when he had arguably the most dominating game I've ever seen a DT have in major college football in his final game (B12 CG vs Texas IIRC). But in the Rams SB run in 2018 he flashed more often than the GOAT Aaron Donald on that Rams Dline. He was also great for the Bucs in last years playoffs.

It's still going to be January in Florida so even bad weather forecasts are rarely that bad.

The wind could mess with the kicking game for sure, especially Succop b/c he doesn't exactly drive the ball with much power on his FGs and thus whatever wind will have more of an effect.

There was video of LVD being out there w/ his helmet looking like was participating.
Shaq is out there also
Positive reports on Lenny also.

Those are the big 3 as far as I'm concerned. We need to get our defense back together if we have any hope of making a run in the playoffs. And with how Philly plays so much zone the RBs are going be big in the checkdown game.

I'd bet JPP plays, but I don't think he'll make much impact either way.

The return of Smoke! (Brown's nickname in Arizona). Should know the offense here. This might be insurance should we advance and Grayson can't return from his hamstring injury.

Was solid for Buffalo in 2019 (1k yards) and the first half of 2020 before going on IR but still had close 500yds in half a season.

Couldn't find a role anywhere in 2021, plus he's 31.

Makes it more of a neutral field. Likely won't be as many fans in the stands. There are thunderstorms forecast so we'll see.

A home playoff game, after not even getting to attend the Super Bowl at home? I think the fans will turn out and pack the place. The real question - unfortunately, but as always - will be the percentage of that packed house that consists of Bucs fans v. Philly fans.

Fans on FB are already trying to unload their ticket because of the weather forecast. Act like you know this fanbase. So while it might be packed, your real question is a very valid one regardless.

What I’d like to see:

DEFENSIVELY

* A lot of 2 Zone variation where we’re only sending 3 and Spying 1 or dropping into a robber zone on Hurts right side. This will help contain the perimeter as we’re giving CBS a lot of run game responsibility. We don’t need to send 4 against Hurts. The problem is when he escapes right. Prevent that and shut down the quick, short passing game and RPO game to his right. Rob those routes and/or Spy him.

OFFENSIVELY

* Throw the ball on 1st down but significant willingness to run on 2nd and short and run it again on 3rd and short if need be (and go for it on 4th down if need be). Playaction 30 + % of throws and stay out of Empty. A lot of Stack with RB underneath it where the Stack is seeing 10-12 yard route stems to attack Match Quarters. A lot of Outs/Pivots under Corner/Fade routes with RB on Choice routes under that to stress 2 and 3 Zone.

Currently, looking at the NFL resale on their site and Stubhub, Dallas or LA look to be the top ones for fans trying to resell tickets to the game. Bucs are actually in not so bad shape. Of course this doesn't account for regular tickets anyone can buy. Bengals look to be the team with the fewest tickets available, I'm sure the projected weather in Buffalo is why they have so many.

Tickets are coming with an NFT this year awarded to the final ticket holder, did not know that. May snag a Bucs ticket even if I can't get to the game just for that.
