You're probably right, but he will blitz the Rams next season at least a dozen times to try and prove he was right to do it to put the Buccaneers back in to irrelevancy.

The crazy thing is, the way the game ended probably took away from how terrible his gameplan was in general. The Rams put up 34 points and 430 yards of offense despite turning the ball over four times (including a fumble on our one-yard line) and running the clock for basically the entire second half. 

We didn't miss a single starter of our Super Bowl winning defense, and the Stafford-led Rams should have scored 50 points. Let that sink in. 

What makes this even more annoying is that we would've been heavily favored vs both the 49ers and the Bengals if we had made it past the Rams. 

I also think that Brady would've been back for a shot at the first three-peat in league history if we had won. Bowles' dumb ass basically cost us two entire seasons.

IMO, one of the problems in the game is that it was the first game since the Superbowl that all of the starters played together. Communication issues were evident on the defensive side of the ball all day - especially on the last drive.

The big difference, however, was that the Bengals lost due to lousy officiating at the end. Whereas we lost due to lousy coaching at the end. The Bengals destiny was taken out of their hands. Not so our destiny.
