The Orlando Magic will face the Boston Celtics in the first round of the NBA playoffs

It’s going to be a good series
4-0 Boston is not gonna be a good series.
Some Boston fans believe that the Celtics should not underestimate the Magic. We’ll see

4-2

Magic had their best opportunity to steal one last night with one of the best players in the NBA sitting out and....nothing.

KCP was definitely a huge flop signing. His contract itself isn’t bad but with Wagner and Suggs extensions kicking in this summer and Paolo probably signing a max extension for next summer, that was our last chance to make a splash in FA with this core and we wasted it miserably. To be fair though, it could’ve been worse. We could’ve paid Paul George.

You’re that surprised? Magic always fucked up

If they keep it up, Paolo Banchero will not sign max extension with the Magic next year

That’s damn near a Cinderella story. Somehow I still struggle to believe they can finish the Celtics off, but I want to see them try

I think the safest bet in sports, IMO, for tonight, is for Celtics to cover the -4.5 spread their favored by.

Paolo is signing the extension. It’s not until that contract begins to expire should the Magic worry.

It would be great if the Magic pair Giannis Antetokounmpo with Paolo. That would be a wiahful thinking.

Any great free agent players this summer?

Looks like the Knicks will win tonight, then move on to the East Finals.

The Pacers eliminated @Zarni and @Snake favorite team. Cleveland Cavs

The Pacers and Knicks series is going to be an exciting one.

I wouldn’t offer anything for Giannis. Terrible fit with Paolo and he’s old. Magic need a star guard, not another front court player.

Yeah, I wouldn’t want a guy who averaged 30/12/6 while shooting 60% on my team either……

Based on the way the Knicks blew game one, they're gonna lose that series easily. Their coach has a reputation for not utilizing his bench and as a result, his starting five runs out of gas. He failed to get both Chicago and Boston over the hump and now he's doing the same thing in New York. If they want any chance of winning it, they need to get rid of his fat ass.

Watching the NBA is a complete waste of time. I’m proud of myself for only catching a few games this year.

If I had to guess, they'll (NYK) will give up 120+ to implode and end the season. KAT disappears and NYK shoot at/under 40% in game 6.

Looks like Fat Fuck Thibs got fired today. Ran his starters into the ground and they blew two games at home against a beatable Indiana team. Good riddance.

IMO, that team OVER performed. If you would have asked joe schmo NBA fan pre-season if they thought the NYK would beat the Celtics in the playoffs and then make the ECF, they would've laughed at you.

Go get The Freak and try to build some semblance of depth (good luck) to compete with the actual contenders in the East. Oh yeah, all that with a new coach...These NYK have reached they plateau of this incarnation, IMO.

If they can get the Greek Freak without giving up KAT, Hart, or Brunson, they will be in the NBA Finals next year. Especially if they have a capable coach like Mark Jackson.

If they hire the right coach, they’ll be in the finals next year, guaranteed.

If the Magic somehow acquire The Freak, it’ll be a different story.

Did Mark Jackson ever coach for the Knicks? I don’t recall, but I believe he coached for the Golden State.

The Knicks game 6 performance was the worst I have ever witnessed. It appears that they lack the motivation to compete for the finals.

No but he played for them, twice in his career. He also went to high school at St. Albans in Queens and played his college ball at St. Johns. Coaching the Knicks would be his dream job.
