Magic had their best opportunity to steal one last night with one of the best players in the NBA sitting out and....nothing.
Yup, i agree… too bad
You’re that surprised? Magic always fucked upMiller4Prez64 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 27, 2025 10:50 pm KCP was definitely a huge flop signing. His contract itself isn’t bad but with Wagner and Suggs extensions kicking in this summer and Paolo probably signing a max extension for next summer, that was our last chance to make a splash in FA with this core and we wasted it miserably. To be fair though, it could’ve been worse. We could’ve paid Paul George.
Paolo is signing the extension. It’s not until that contract begins to expire should the Magic worry.Phantom wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 9:32 amYou’re that surprised? If they keep it up, Paolo Banchero will not sign max extension with the Magic next year
I wouldn’t offer anything for Giannis. Terrible fit with Paolo and he’s old. Magic need a star guard, not another front court player.
Yeah, I wouldn’t want a guy who averaged 30/12/6 while shooting 60% on my team either……Miller4Prez64 wrote: ↑Thu May 22, 2025 12:18 amI wouldn’t offer anything for Giannis. Terrible fit with Paolo and he’s old. Magic need a star guard, not another front court player.
Based on the way the Knicks blew game one, they're gonna lose that series easily. Their coach has a reputation for not utilizing his bench and as a result, his starting five runs out of gas. He failed to get both Chicago and Boston over the hump and now he's doing the same thing in New York. If they want any chance of winning it, they need to get rid of his fat ass.
Yeah The Knicks had this game won but WTFBuccaNOLEer wrote: ↑Thu May 22, 2025 8:24 amBased on the way the Knicks blew game one, they're gonna lose that series easily. Looks like Fat Fuck Thibs got fired today. Ran his starters into the ground and they blew two games at home against a beatable Indiana team. Good riddance.
IMO, that team OVER performed. If you would have asked joe schmo NBA fan pre-season if they thought the NYK would beat the Celtics in the playoffs and then make the ECF, they would've laughed at you.BuccaNOLEer wrote: ↑Tue Jun 03, 2025 3:21 pmLooks like Fat Fuck Thibs got fired today. If they can get the Greek Freak without giving up KAT, Hart, or Brunson, they will be in the NBA Finals next year. Especially if they have a capable coach like Mark Jackson.acmillis wrote: ↑Tue Jun 03, 2025 4:30 pmIMO, that team OVER performed. Go get The Freak and try to build some semblance of depth (good luck) to compete with the actual contenders in the East. Oh yeah, all that with a new coach...These NYK have reached they plateau of this incarnation, IMO.
Did Mark Jackson ever coach for the Knicks? I don’t recall, but I believe he coached for the Golden State.BuccaNOLEer wrote: ↑Tue Jun 03, 2025 6:00 pmIf they can get the Greek Freak without giving up KAT, Hart, or Brunson, they will be in the NBA Finals next year. The Knicks game 6 performance was the worst I have ever witnessed. It appears that they lack the motivation to compete for the finals.BuccaNOLEer wrote: ↑Tue Jun 03, 2025 3:21 pmLooks like Fat Fuck Thibs got fired today. No but he played for them, twice in his career. He also went to high school at St. Albans in Queens and played his college ball at St. Johns. Coaching the Knicks would be his dream job.Phantom wrote: ↑Tue Jun 03, 2025 6:07 pmDid Mark Jackson ever coach for the Knicks?
