COLLEGE FOOTBALL REALIGNMENT RUMORS

Post by Phantom »

As the Big 12 continues to consider expansion, four leading candidates have emerged in BYU, UCF, Cincinnati and Houston, sources confirmed to ESPN, as formal invitations could be extended to these schools during the college football season.

I’m good with it, as long as it keeps the big 12 afloat. Even though USF sucks right now, that’s a big TV market to not include. UCF needs to keep the USF rivalry game going.

Is the G5 really able to lose membership?

I wasn't aware there was any lower.

USC and UCLA, two of the Pac-12's flagship programs, are planning to leave the conference for the Big Ten as early as 2024, and a move is considered imminent, sources confirmed to ESPN on Thursday.

Big 10 and SEC will end up being the Super Conferences.

Honestly, I think it will equate to a better product on a week by week basis and better playoffs.

Eastern Conference / Western Conference

Using the Mississippi as the dividing line would make it interesting as hell.
