Maybe you shouldn't try to argue. Especially when the point you got to was basically the same as the point raised. RBs matter and are part of a teams success
Matter in what way? Winning a SB…yeah…not sooo much

Uh, what?

KC doesn't win the SB in 2022 without running the ball. In the 1st half of that game, they ran the ball 5 times, scored just once offensively in 4 drives.

In the 2nd half, they ran the ball something like 20 times, and scored on every drive, 3 TDs and a FG to win the game.

And last year in the SB, almost the same deal. The Chiefs' passing offense wasn't very efficient, but the running game in the 2nd half was key to the Chiefs winning again.

And this season, the best teams in the league all run the ball well. The teams that don't are all at the bottom of the league.

Bottom line, KC doesn't win the last two SBs without having a good rushing attack, period.

Harbaugh bowl tonight. John is 2-0 vs Jim. I expect him to be 3-0 after tonight.

So Fournette had nothing to do with us winning in 2021?

Are the Ravens overrated?

Can they keep up with the AFC top notch teams with their terrible defense?

For example…

Buffalo, Kansas City, and Chargers all have a better offense. Pittsburgh beat them in a slobber knocker.

Then you have the lesser teams who could easily run up the score on them. They seem to thrive on offense with Lamar, but in the playoffs you need more than a running QB who can sling the ball.

7-5 if they lose tonight. A game behind the Steelers.

I’m not sure the AFC Wild Card standings right now, but I could definitely see them missing out.

They are currently 6th. If they win they move up to 5th, Chargers move to 6th. If they lose they remain 5th, tied with Denver, who they destroyed a few weeks ago.

They’ve got a 91% playoff predictor to make the playoffs with a loss. The AFC is pretty much locked up already compared to the NFC which seems to be wide open.

Exactly.

The 1st team that's outside looking in is Miami at 5-6.

Behind them is Indianapolis at 5-7 and a terrible QB.

Behind them is Cincinnati, who's 4-7 and got swept by the Ravens.

I'd say that 91% is closer to 100 unless Baltimore has a catastrophic ending to the year.

The Niners are 1-3 vs that terrible division. They've shown absolutely no consistency this year. They also still have Detroit and Buffalo on their schedule and have to play the Cardinals and Rams, both of whom have already beat the Niners.

It doesn't look good for the Niners.

Henry is a physical runner, but he’s also a patient runner. He finds the hole almost every time. And then if someone is in his way, he runs them over.

The Chargers D is pretty good overall. But that run D can be exploited. 4.7 yards/carry allowed on the year and over 110 yards/ game.

Seems to be what the Ravens do in Primetime. Let you score early on but then figure it out on offense and then go on a run.

That’s the point I’m making; you don’t need an elite rb to win. When was the last time an all pro rb won a SB?
