When I think of Penn State, I think of a white helmet with no name on the back of the jersey.

How many schools do you think of in their away jerseys?

For me:

Texas
Alabama
FSU
Nebraska

I don’t understand your question. Do you mean no name on the back of jersey?

No just when you picture a team in your minds eye are they known for their home or away jersey?

Drew Allar looked decent in spring ball. He doesn't have many wide outs to throw the ball to though.

And the playoff is a good thing no matter how you look at it. I think it promotes parity in the country too. NIL and the Playoff have completely killed the game I knew growing up though.

are you glad that Penn State made it to the playoffs?

I love the way that Penn State has played this postseason. I love the heart that they have shown. And I pray that we continue to play well.

I hope that the team shows up tomorrow night. There is so much hope in the Happy Valley Area. between the women's volleyball team winning their national title, and the Football team fighting for their first Championship in my lifetime... things are alright.

So the answer to that is, happy? I'm happy that the team beat both the teams they were supposed to. Big Game James hopefully gets it done tomorrow too.

Singular. One.

Jerry Sandusky was a monster. Second Mile victims should be given free education at the university til the day they die.

That being said, Joe was still a great man who was flawed. Hopefully, his legacy is returned to him eventually.

Joe knew kids were being raped and still let the guy flaunt his way around campus for decades.

If it’s a just God, Joe is burning in hell.

If I recall correctly, Mike McQueary informed Joe Paterno about what he saw via Jerry Sandusky’s actions in the shower. What did Joe Paterno do in response? He did absolutely nothing.

We had this discussion before, BJ. Let’s not dwell on this or revisit it again.

Listen, if you grew up in Happy Valley-area and experienced the joys of Penn State... you'd defend him too.

And catholics everywhere still defend the church despite pedophilia being rampant throughout it.

No one ever says... Hey Jesus told them to rape those little boys?

Hope I’m wrong on this but I think Penn State wins tonight. I just think the injuries to ND finally catch up to them and It’s tough to follow up a physical battle with Georgia with this virtually 7 days later. I think the two days extra rest and easier path help Penn State tonight. The X factor is Singleton. I don’t think Allar will have a great game but do think Penn State will be able to worn down on an ND front that’s down to a lot of backups.

That said, Al Golden is the best DC in college football and Mike Denbrock may be the best OC in college so they may be able to cook something up to get the Irish through.

Jesus is to the modern Catholic Church as Joe Paterno is to the Penn State football program?

JoePA was everything to the Program for a long time.

I know you're bait and I ain't taking it any more.

If ya hate Joe, Ya hate Joe.

I've forgiven the man. I've forgiven Sandusky. I've forgiven the preachers who raped those kids. To me, it ain't my sin. I don't have to live with it. I can't live with hate in my heart.

Penn State is injured too. The war of attrition that is the CFP. I'm hopeful PSU wins but think ND is a better team than we led on.

But their best player, Abdul Carter, is suiting it up. I just wonder whether the physicality of the Georgia game + the injuries will just catch up to the Irish tonight. I had a feeling before the Georgia game that ND would win. That same gut feeling is telling me otherwise tonight.

ND plays better when under the radar and it seems like everyone picking them which I don’t like,m. There’s a reason the spread has gone from -2.5 to -1 the last couple of days. The smart people are backing PSU.

And…Penn State now 1 point favorite. People know something.

Also I guess this article is wrong saying what uniforms the teams will be wearing.

Yup saw this coming. ND just looks out of gas and the continual injuries now on the OL are crucifying them. Actually think Angeli gives them a better shot in second half because he is a better passer. The run-option game with Leonard not working.

A pocket passer is probably the only thing that's going to beat PSU in these playoffs.

ND looks like they filled the tank at halftime. Playing with purpose now. Those runs by Love on one leg out of the gate seemed to spark the team.

Penn State had ND by the throat in the first half and they let up. I was surprised because they could have pounced on them. ND regrouped at halftime and just totally different game now.
