So if you lead the league in tackles that automatically disqualifies you for the All-Pro team. Got it.
It means that accruing tackles alone isn’t the sole barometer for LB play anymore. As evidenced by the prior two tackling leaders getting zero accolades or attention from anyone.
He did nothing well except tackle in the box. The position requires more.

Would you say he’s a better LB than Fred Warner?
You're a racist and we know that ain't changing any time soon.
He did more than tackle in the box.
No he's not better than Warner. I'm guessing many feel that way as well seeing as Warner made the 1st team and Wagner made the 2nd team.

But he has more tackles than Warner doesn’t that mean he’s better?
Wagner was borderline bad if not bad in coverage too.
Even Seattle fans agree it was a dumb all pro pick.

Contrarian L again.
Never said more tackles means you're better, kiddo. Try again. I said leading the league shouldn't disqualify you the way you're attempting to do. It stands for something.
Seattle fans also agree with the selection.
Only contrarian here is you arguing a fact, that being that he's an All-Pro.
So now you wanna get personal when you have no other resort. And you say I'm a board ruiner. That tracks. Just shows me just how low you are and what you truly stand for.
Man TD these last 3 ish days has really taken a dump. I guess some guys are accepting we’re gonna get curb stomped on Monday and are having a hard time accepting the season is coming to an end…

This seems rather intense for what should be a very legitimate but casual conversation about the all pro selection of Wagner
You'd think. But Snake is part of the old guard. When things don't go the way he wants, he has to make it personal and take shots at people instead of the post. The Admin around here is part that same culture as well so they not only allow it but tend to encourage it.
Just gotta learn to roll with it and fireback accordingly.

Man, the Baker hater in me reallllly hopes this comment has legs. He could have said something about working with Baker, but he didn't. I'm hoping that is a subtle clue that we don't want Baker here long term.
I’m surprised he wouldn’t mention Baker. Maybe the team does plan to move on from him. Who knows. Monday will determine the fate of a few people in Tampa.

He also didn't mention Wirfs. Does that mean the Bucs plan to move on from Wirfs? No it doesn't just like not mentioning Baker means that the Bucs plan to move on from Baker.

The question asked to Canales was about Baker, not Wirfs.

Someone posted the whole answer to the question earlier, he did mention Baker. He likes Baker

Only 48 million to spend in 2024 with a lot of key players that need to be resigned.
If we don't re-sign players with voided years by the end of March, that number decreases.
Have to resign Evans, Godwin, Lavonte David and Baker. That eats up a lot of salary cap money. Also have to look at extending Wirfs.
Chase McLaughlin also needs to be resigned. Gonna take a lot of work by Licht to keep them all.

That's plenty. You can always backload your true franchise guys that you expect to be resigning again and again. Frontload guys like Baker. Plus there's still guys we can cut too.

You're letting AWJ go? Why extend Wirfs this year when we don't have to until next year?

To push his cap hit out. Wirfs and AWJ aren’t going anywhere. Evans will be here if he wants to be.
When he stopped to shake a couple of Eagles fans' hands on the way to the tunnel, and almost went back for a couple more but then turned and backhand waved with a look of sorrow on his face, I thought that was the retirement walk.
Edit: That was his family.

He's sooo loved, he's such a good dude. Imagine if he played for nearly any other franchise in the NFL. He's be a top-3 personality, dude ever, in the history of the league. He arguable still is, but he had to wear that god awful franchise's jersey his whole career. That dude will never, ever pay for a single meal/drink in that city.
