We have. They'd be 11-5 with a playoff berth....Oh wait....

“Baker Mayfield also profiles closer to Drew Brees than Russell Wilson does, and I think Payton would also see that as a huge plus. Mayfield is currently playing on a one-year, $4 million deal. Even when he likely demands a richer contract from someone, it probably won’t be over $20 million per season.”
Absent a collapse over the final two games, Mayfield is likely to get more from the Bucs than $20mil per.

I do remember a huge play where Olave had a step in AWJ deep, Carr made a perfect throw but AWJ recovered and deflected the pass away just in time, otherwise it would've been a TD. Best downfield play I've ever seen AWJ make.

Joe Flacco out here competing for the number one seed while all these AFC teams full of savior QBs fight for 8/9 wins. God I love this sport.

T.J. Watt being basically the best defensive player on the planet during his career should irk you more. He went 30th in that draft.

Over the past few days, I have read numerous articles praising the Bucs and Baker Mayfield. What are they trying to do? Jinx the Bucs?

Other day I thought he's having a good year and it went instantly to I bet Bootz is happy.

What if we skipped both TE's and took TJ Watts instead

Then we're not having this discussion. But no one was advocating for TJ

True but many other teams got it wrong too.

I don't think so. Since the boat parade trophy toss I think the NFL is realizing it can have a fun market and brand in Tampa. A PG family friendly Florida man if you will. Baker is a perfect face for it too. A strong Tampa is good for the league.

Serious question: Ronde's pick 6, Brooks' dagger, AWJ's deuces, or the trophy toss. What's your favorite? Or throw another out there.

These types of opinions I find pretty worthless as every draft for every team likely has a guy who they "should" have taken. While Howard did not work out, the team needed a TE at that time and Njoku was mentioned as a possibility for the Bucs. I don't recall anyone suggesting Watt for the Bucs.

In a way, the question was an age test. I have never in my life launched off the couch like I did when Ronde grabbed that ball. Some of you know, I literally set my girlfriend's (now wife) apartment on fire because I hit a flaming oil chandelier.

It was a whole thing.

I was watching it with my neighbors in their garage. You could hear the entire neighborhood cheer when Ronde picked it.

If they penalized us 50 yards it would have still been worth it. There is a “Bucs Season” video that opens with Tyreek’s deuces and ends with AWJ in the Super Bowl. I still AWJ deuces as one of my screen savers.

Oh yeah! I was at a bar watching with my gf. The whole place erupted when Barber got that pic. It was electric.

Rhonda’s pick 6 and it isn’t even close. I screamed so loud, alone in my living room, that the neighbor called to see if I was okay lol

This, Ronde’s pick 6 means more.

AWJ deuces is just legendarily petty and I love it. Using his own taunt against him, embarrassing a wife and child beater, revenge from being embarrassed earlier against the same player and team.
