yeah, he's been scattershot, even with protection. Not the norm for him this season.

Jayden Daniels won the Heisman.

The guy has horrible feet in the pocket. He doesn't have nimble feet or elusive instincts by being able to evade pass rush and create himself a throwing platform inside a phone booth. He looks like a project to me. Hendon Hooker and Kellen Mond fell to the 3rd and they were more advanced passers than Penix.

I don't disagree whatsoever. But he would be another 24-year-old rookie "project" a la Trask.

Penix can throw lasers, but his lack of athleticism and reliance on great protection was exhibited tonight.

The moment seemed to be a lot for him.

That said, it feels a bit bittersweet. A part of me feels that this is as high as it'll get, and what we've built is about to unravel. There's a strong chance that Harbaugh leaves, JJ and every draft-eligible guy declares (having accomplished their goal of a Natty and who can blame them), and we reroll the dice of fate on a head coach and such.

I need to live more in the moment.

I'm satisfied with Michigan's 15-0 perfect season, making them the first Big Ten team to achieve this. Something Ohio State has never done before.

So, in the next season and beyond, I'm going to take a step back and post less in college forums.
