Many of you desired Todd Bowles to be fired and Baker Mayfield to be benched when the Buccaneers had a record of 4-7.

Now they're 8-7

That’s about as good as a win as you can hope for at this point in the season. Some teams are crapping out while others are gaming steam. Pretty obvious which one the Buccaneers are.

In your mind (not heart) do you really think we stand a chance against the NFCE runner up?

No? Me neither.

I kind of figured we'd have a letdown game after last win with Baker going Super Saiyan. Great sign that he followed that up with another great performance.

Damn right we wanted them gone when it was 4-7. And the disdain and fan ire was well deserved at the time.

Moving on...

Another fun game to watch. It's been great watching complementary football the past 2 games. Now let's put this division to bed next week and get ready to host a playoff game.

Run game did enough today. For sure it made Jacksonville have to play the run which opened up the receivers.

Speaking of receivers, Mike Evans had another awesome game today with 7 catches and 2 TDs. If he opts for a payday elsewhere, I would really be bummed, but I can't say he doesn't deserve it. But I'm also selfish and really want him to retire a Buc and go to the HoF having played his entire career for Tampa Bay.

Right now I think we stand a solid chance vs everyone in the NFC but the 49ers.

Nobody but San Fran should be viewed as anything but imminently beatable.

I buy that. Cowboys, Eagles, & Lions are probably all objectively better, but it is toss-up better. We're in all those games at this point. I'd outright favor us against anyone else, except of course the Niners. If they don't win it all it will be because someone else just had themselvesa day.

Yes. Dallas is not so good on the road and Philly hasn't been playing well lately. Sure, we may lose but I think it's not a foregone conclusion.

I literally spent the entire off-season expecting us to have games like this week in and week out. I have not subscribed to the notion that we were either rebuilding or needed to rebuild and quite a bit of it had to do with our division being so bad. So yeah, I got MEGA pissed off when we were 4-7. This was never a bad football team. But it was getting bad results.

But today? Today was a good day

We get more and more confident with each win. Fired on all cylinders, except the run game this week. Next week is gonna be huge as we hope to do the improbable.

There was an amazing amount of open throws today. Mike Evans made magic happen a few times, but there was a whole lot of guys wide open. That’s just good gameplanning. End of story.

We took advantage of a shitty secondary. The Jags safeties are decent but their corners are crap. Canales clearly game planned around that and it paid off.

This explains all the 4th down attempts

Hey how do you post a tweet here?
Since week 9 only Mike McCarthy has been as Todd as Todd Bowles on going for it on 4th down when they should.

Two things:

Green Bay

Any given Sunday.

So yep. I think we have a chance.

Yes like everyone said. My expectations are a 1st round win.. anything else is gravy after that.

The way some of our 1st round opponents are spirals we got a great chance.

Joe Gilbert we are the least respected run blocking o-line in the league. All the teams think they can shut us down.

If you disagree with my assessment of the situation you can explain why.

I saw a player today that finally realized he needed to bring his A game. Not a guy who just got healthy.
