Have you noticed the new ad trends? They go out of their way to include black and mixed race couples. That's great and all, perfectly appropriate, but....

Look at the mixed couples. All of them, even the animated ones. It will be black woman / white man. Never the other way around. Because GAWD ALMIGHTY if'n those black men take our white women.

I think it has more to do with the fact that, if you're being intentionally inclusive but still trying to target shoppers who remain predominantly female, then yes, black female mixed couple makes more sense.

All joking aside, statistics say this is a winning strategy. It has been proven time and again at various levels of football, but it never makes its way to the big guys because it requires the coach to put his ass on the line repeatedly.

Yeah it’s tougher when jobs are on the line, and the opposing defense usually has actual cornerbacks unlike the All-White team.

There do seem to be more 4th down conversion attempts, so we may see someone w the stones to adopt it soon. I wonder what the actual stats are on success with that approach, and also the # of times NFL teams opt to go for it on 4th now compared to a decade or so ago.
