Except they've both looked like trash. Flacco has the highest INT rate in football and is completing less than 60% of passes. Has he sucked less than Watson? Ummmm sure. But let's not pretend he's been good.

Teams have figured out that to shut down KC, you double and triple team Kelce. They have nothing else. Toney was supposed to be the guy but he’s not. Same with Moore. Rice is developing nicely but he’s not a No. 1. More of a No. 2.

Another issue is Mahomes doesn’t have the mobility he used to. Injuries have taken a toll, and the OL isn’t as good as it used to be. Little things, sure, but they all add up to a big thing.

Playoffs are a new season, and anything can happen, but just don’t feel it with KC this year. I think Miami and Baltimore will run postseason with Bills as a WC and potential matchup with KC in Rd 1 (3 vs 6).

Edit: Buffalo can actually end up with 2 seed if they win out. Just gotta hope Miami loses in Balt and Buf wins at Miami last game of year. Very doable. Crazy.

Denver really kicking themselves for losing last night now…a game they had no business losing. If KC loses today, they’d actually have controlled their destiny in the West if they won out.
