Expecting Lawrence to be out.
Week 16 Discussion
Re: Week 16 Discussion
That happened in 1978, so lot's of the folks in here probably weren't even born yet.
Don't tread on me
Re: Week 16 Discussion
I wonder how they are going to work things if Jarrett comes back off of IR

Wow, everyone practiced today. We haven't been this healthy in a while. Credit to our training staff and medical team. We have to be one of, if not the most healthy team in the league.

Was Ryan Neal brought here for run defense
Re: Week 16 Discussion
Just curious, he made plays in Seattle but here he doesnt seem to fit well at all. I would assume he is one of those S/LB hybrids which sounds great if splash plays are being made frequently.
I was looking at Nubin for us in the draft.
Re: Week 16 Discussion
He was brought here because he got a few All-Pro votes, familiarity with Canales, and the Seahawks didn't want him.

Looking at that, I was thinking the same. And how many years have we looked at that list and not seen big names as "injured" because they were just plain out for the season? This is a thing of beauty.

In 1964 the Jim Brown ran for 1446 yards. That is over 100 yards avg per 14 game schedule. In 1960 Jim Brown ran for 1257 yards in a 12 game regular season.

Re: Week 16 Discussion
When asked how the decision sat with him, White said, "It didn't sit no way with me. K.J. been playing well all year since I've been out. I'm proud of him. That's what we do. That's what he got drafted here to do, to be a great player that can step in for me and Lavonte [David] and he's did just that. Just like I was supporting him when I wasn't playing, if I did play, I was going to support him, whatever the case may be."
White called the injury "one of the toughest things I've ever dealt with. ... My mindset is like, 'Man, I got to be out there. I make the team go. I make the defense go. But if you can't be yourself, then you can't really go out there and help your team -- more so hurting them.' And that's something that me and Coach Bowles had like a father-to-son talk, because that's how I look at him. He's like, 'D, I got to get you back healthy. I got to help you get healthy so you can help the team.'"
When asked whether he would be OK rotating with Britt, he said, "Oh that would be perfectly fine. They on a three-game winning streak. So that's really good. Because we're trying to fight to get in the playoffs. And I know there will be something for me to do to help contribute, whether it's cheering them on even more. Everybody can go back and watch the Panthers game. I was on the sideline in the rain. I could have went up to my box and watched the game. I stayed on the sideline to be there for those guys."

Per AumanHere’s today’s injury report for Bucs and Jaguars. Still no Trevor Lawrence as he works through concussion protocol:

Jags are 5-1 on the road. Let's make it 5-2.
Re: Week 16 Discussion
The Saints winning or losing is basically inconsequential. But I hope they lose.

In other good news, the USF Bulls are leading the not so mighty Syracuse Orangemen 31-0 at the half.

Re: Week 16 Discussion
To me the most pointless statement in all sports is "I wouldn't wanna play this team in the playoffs"...Who the hell would you wanna play? A team with a better record? A team with no shot to make the playoffs? It's saying absolutely nothing.

Re: Week 16 Discussion
If the Rams score this drive then it is over. Obviously they need to eat up the clock no matter what
