Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers Official Game Day Thread: Division Lead Edition
Happy Game Day Bucs fans! Today your Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on their NFC South rivals, the Atlanta Falcons in the 1st of 2 seasonal matchups.
Both teams come off of disappointing home losses and look to rebound to stake their claim as the early leader of the NFC South.
The Falcons come into Raymond
James Stadium 3-3. They have no injuries whatsoever. Their injury report consisted of a rest day for 16 year vet Calais Campbell.
The Bucs similarly come in completely healthy. Both players on this weeks' injury report are active today and will play (Vita
Vea & Anthony Nelson).
Let's hope for a great game, no injuries and a win to take an early lead in the division.
GO BUCS!

Do the practice squad players get to sit on the bench?
Re: Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers Official Game Day Thread: Division Lead Edition
They are the guys you see in street clothes on the sidelines. But teams have different policies. Some of them have their PS players sitting in the stands in a specific section, some in a suite. But they are there.

Tf was the point of that

That wasn't a smart idea to go for it on fourth and sixth.

I don't love the Falcons, but I love me some Cordarelle Patterson.

Atlanta cutting through the Bowles defense like a hot knife through melted butter.

If I'm an NFL OC playing the Bucs, I tell my QB to throw it wherever #23 is. It's guaranteed money.

I wish I could say I am surprised, but after years of watching the Bowles defense this is normal.

JTS was in position to make that play, didn't bite down on the back on that option read play. And Desmond Ridder just outran him easily.
Not a good look for our edge rusher.

My guess is Baker throws a pick-six in the next three plays.
Re: Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers Official Game Day Thread: Division Lead Edition
If Devin can’t make that play…what is the point exactly?
He’ll get sucked up on the shallow Cross all day to give up the in-cut behind him (as happened earlier in the drive), that’s for sure.
If he’s injured or he’s <whatever>, then he needs to take a game or two off.

He's barely played this season too. Its weird how RBs just disappear even after sucessfull seasons. He averaged nearly 5ypc last year. I get they have their guy now but still..
Re: Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers Official Game Day Thread: Division Lead Edition
A first rounder in his 3rd season should be making more difference than JTS has. He's a JAG.
