Happy Game Day Bucs fan! Today is a day years in the making. Your Tampa Bay Buccaneers turn to Buccaneer Bruce for team spirit as the Bucs take on their old time NFC Central division rivals Detroit Lions. And they do it in the old Buccaneer orange, or Creamsicle.




This is the Bucs 1st time wearing the throwbacks since 2013. Reportedly supply chain issues were the given reason for it taking so long for the return of the throwbacks. The Bucs wore the design from their inaugural season 1976 until 1996.

Today the Bucs welcome the Detroit Lions to Ray Jay. Both teams have just 1 loss on the year and are surprise successes early on.

The Bucs come in relatively healthy, although a late addition to the injury report won't suit up today, pass rusher Anthony Nelson.





The Lions injury list is a mile long. They'll be without a number of players.

Let's hope for a great game, no (new) injuries and a much better fortune than the Bucco Bruce Bucs were use to back in the day. Let's get this W.

Vita Vea vs. Lions run blockers. The Lions like to push people around.... not so fast. Vita Vea must be in the game on key run downs.

Devin White vs Lions run blockers. Guards who are proficient 2nd level blockers are Devin's kryptonite. The Lions have them.

If we stop their run game and get our defense off the field I like our chances.

We match up well with this team. It will be a good measuring stick for where this Buc team is right now.

The Lions are getting mad hype right now but this team is not a physically dominating team like the Eagles. With their injuries, If our defense is hitting on all cylinders we can beat this team with average offensive output.
