They might be a serious contender for Caleb at this point. Their offense is just unwatchable. If Rodgers didn’t go down they would have zero wins right now.
Belichick adding Caleb is exciting.
Why?

Edit: nvm

See above.

The greatest coach of all time adding a rookie generational talent during the back nine of his career - or the back three holes really - would be something to see. He’d be getting his own Mahomes, in theory.

What does that mean?

Belichick has shown as much adaptability schematically as anyone. He rolled out Wing-T shit with Cam Newton. Air Raid in 2007.

I honestly think New England would be a terrible spot for Caleb. The game has passed Belichick by and he’s proven to have a horrible eye for offensive talent for years now. I’m sure the kid would appreciate having a defense though since he has to score 45+ to guarantee a win for USC.

So what would it cost to trade for Zack Moss?

He should’ve given up the drafting aspect of his job along time ago. But football isn’t evolving at a rate that would render him ineffective as a coach.

You’re telling me Belichick has no input into his team’s offensive scheming? That’s a little crazy

That's a bad comparison. Andy Reid is one of the best teachers of offense. He helped mold Mahomes into the guy he is.

As far as we know, Belichick didn't have a hand in molding Brady. He's a great leader but as far as teaching goes, I don't think that what he does and neither do you.

Dolphins are losing the turnover battle 3 to 0 and are still beating the Giants 31-13. Does that speak to how good the Dolphins are or how terrible the Giants are?

Daniel Jones got hurt. Not surprising, he took a beating Monday night and has been sacked 6 times today.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat. Those games are always tough to watch. Usually team with the ball last wins.

Ravens’ receivers were atrocious today but Lamar’s INT at the end was probably the killer for Baltimore.

Still though, they win this game by 20 if their receivers were competent today.

I think that one of Belichick's goals was to surpass Don Shula for most wins. As bad as the patriots looked today, that could take another 5 years or more. Brady was the cause of the Patriots winning so many games and titles.

I think Belichick bailing on New England for a more ready to win roster isn’t out of the question.

Except in all 6 of Brady's SB they had a top 10 D. In the first 3 Brady was an average QB. They were known for defenses until the last 3.

Bill was all-time great at building Defenses, offensive lines, and having a system.

Brady wouldn't have been the GOAT without Bill and Bill wouldn't have been without Brady.

Just like pre-Mahomes every said Reid sucked in the playoffs and was figured out by great defensive coordinators. He gets Pat and he's now the "GOAT".

Great coaches and great teams need great QBs. That's why the Dilfers, Johnsons, Foles are unsustainable for greatness. You need elite QB play and elite coaching for sustained greatness.
