Bears GM continues to get fleeced. He used the 32nd pick on Claypool and less than a year later all he gets back is peanuts.

was looking solid for a second.
Solid? Lol, once Washington scored they never got closer than being down by 10. This was never a close game.
you do realize WAS missed a very makeable FG with 5min left to play that would have made it a one score game, right?

Bears did almost let them back in.

That missed FG was the end.

I have a buddy who’s a bears fan and he’s a good guy. We commiserated when both our teams sucked but the Bears have basically been terrible since we were both kids in the 90s lol

Feel like that fan base deserves a little good fortune.

Bills/Jags has been very blah. Bills look jetlagged. Jags have definitely taken a step back from last year. They no longer look like a team I expect to win from week to week. Hopefully half 2 is better.

That's a good analogy. I don't want to say Trevor Lawrence is meh. But something just isn't clicking.

Well the Jags just put up nearly 500 yards and 25 points against one of the best defenses in the league, so I guess they aren't THAT horrible.

Didn't watch the game huh?

Before the 4th quarter this was a 11-7 game. Lawrence had 3 fumbles with 2 lost. The Bills D lost countless starters to injury. Seemed play to play. A couple big runs, penalties by the Bills D, boom! 25 points. But this was not a masterclass performance by Jacksonville.

They might be a serious contender for Caleb at this point. Their offense is just unwatchable. If Rodgers didn’t go down they would have zero wins right now.

Caleb won't save this roster. It's terrible. And not only that, when I've watched them this year they play with zero fight. No energy. No urgency. Guys just appear to be going through the motions.

Didn’t say he would, just that the Patriots are going to be in the mix for him because they suck. Just saw that this is the first time they have trailed by 20+ at halftime in consecutive games since 1996.

I don’t hate Mac Jones. But he’s not gonna elevate anybody. His performance will be subject to everything going well around him.

Belichick will need to add to the offensive side of the ball. Bigly. he may or may not be the guy to do that, given his history. All that to say, injecting a “generational“ QB to the back end of his career would be fun to watch. If Bill couldn’t figure it out after a year with Caleb, he definitely gets fired.

If/when McDaniels also comes back as OC after getting fired, too.
