Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints Official Game Day Thread: Division Rivalry Edition

Happy Game Day Bucs fans! Today the (early) battle for 1st place in the NFC South is on as the Bucs and Saints battle in the Big Easy.

Both teams enter this game 2-1 after disappointing losses last week. The Saints were up 17-0 to Green Bay before QB Derek Carr injured his shoulder and the Packers scored 18 unanswered. And on Monday the Bucs were outclassed by the Eagles in a game that was never really close.

Speaking of Carr, he will start today after it looked like initially that he would miss time with a shoulder injury. Their RG Cesar Ruiz will be out with a concussion today.

The Bucs come in with their own injuries. They get back CB Carlton Davis but will be without other starting CB Jamel Dean.



No worry of weather today inside the Superdome. Just the dreaded turf monster.
Let's hope for a great game, no (new) injuries and a bounce back win today against a heated rival.

Been a disappointing start for him. He flashed when he did play, hope it’s just being extra cautious and he’s back soon. Could use some juice on the DL.
