Odd, I can't find you talking about this game before it started.

That's an overexaggeration. I'm just trying to understand your rationale here. Do you actually believe Bama and Florida are neck and neck? Are you saying Florida would be a favorite on a neutral field against Bama? Like what are you getting at exactly?

I think he is inferring that Florida would win by 78!!!

#QualityLoss

Let's get Anthony Richardson healthy, beat Georgia, then get Bama in a rematch like last year.

Bama was able to out athlete Florida today, but the Gators just ran out of time unfortunately.

Good game.

Good game.
Had Richardson been played, especially earlier in the game, this might have played out different.

On that note: I know being out on the field runs more risk, but him going out and doing a front handspring before the game that he's sitting out of for a hamstring injury is a pretty bad look.

You questioned how anyone could think Florida was even on Bama's level. Today proved that Florida most certainly should be considered a legit threat to beat Bama. You under-estimated Florida, but in typical Bootz fashion, I won't hold my breath on you ever admitting you were wrong.

There was only 1 result that could've made me wrong in the context of my question. I got my answer. Florida is an underdog like I said the #QualityLoss means more than actually beating Bama, again something that hasn't happened in 13 years. You'll continue to put Florida on the same level as Bama despite the fact that they can't beat them. It's like putting the Buffalo Bills in the early 90s on the same level as the 4 teams(3 actual) that beat them in 4 consecutive Super Bowls. "ALMOST HAD EM" is the same as a win as far as an underdog is concerned. You're proving that point.

Interesting comparison considering those Bills teams we're considered the better team on the field. But hey, by that logic, I'm sure you feel the Bears were on a level above the Bucs last year.

Who cares what they were considered on the field? Oh, that’s right. Underdogs. You care way too much about moral victories.

As far as the Bucs/Bears comparison, there needs to be some context. Who were the favorites to win? Who was seen as the better team at the time? What were the circumstances involved in the game? All important factors.

Context matters in all of those circumstances. You're just picking and choosing when to use it.

Let's put it this way. You asked me would I bet my life savings on Bama to beat Florida in the SEC Championship game if they played again. By your logic, not only should my answer be yes, but I should see you at the table as well putting your life savings up for a Florida win since these 2 teams are equals. Is that what you'd do?

In what world would it make sense to put my life savings on the line for a game between 2 teams that I feel either could win?

By your own admission, the outcome might've been different had 1 player played earlier. If 1 player is all it takes for a team that came in as a 14 point underdog to have the advantage, then absolutely, you must feel the underdog is the better team. Or not? Idk you're kind of all over the place.

I only saw the highlight of Florida vs Alabama game, Bama led 21-0 then the Gators made it to a one score game. How good is Alabama D? The run defense is awful

And in Bootz's mind, losing the TOP, penalties, and yardage factors while giving up a staggering 258 yards rushing just proves how much better Bama is than Florida. Like, the only reason anyone should have hyped this matchup at all is because they just love rooting for the underdog.

Florida doesn't even belong on the same field as the mighty Alabama.

Anyone that says those two teams were not as evenly matched as two teams could be yesterday is clearly just being obstinate....

Nobody is going to be favored to beat Bama this year it UF took their best shot and answered by coming back and having a shot at the end

I'd pay to watch a rematch later in the year when both teams are able to work on their current weaknesses

What a waste. Three games in, and the defense has not yet allowed a single TD. Three games in, and the offense has managed maybe 2 respectable drives?

He looks lost and indecisive out there. Unless somebody's running wide f'ing open, he doesn't know what to do, and when he does commit, he likes to show off his arm by throwing 300mph fastballs over everyone's heads. Clemson's going to lose again, and that will be that. Not on Thanksgiving, but I think it will happen.

Right?

Clemson's defense has been right there with UGA in pure dominance. With a halfway decent offense, they are in the playoff.

Don't y'all have like 3 5 star guys behind him?

Not quite. Next man up is a 4* who has looked good (then again, so did D.J. last year backing up Trevor), but after that, #3 is a walk-on.

But hey, next man up at least gives us more fun with the pronunciation game. Move over D.J Uiagalelei, welcome Taisun Phommachanh.

Michigan is at 19 in the latest AP poll. Well deserved and well-earned. That power pistol offense is making hay in the run game and the defense is solid.

Not sure if we have the horses to beat Ohio State, but this is the best Michigan offense I've seen in years.

Well there's a depressing stat. Clemson's defense has given up 12 points this year. Clemson's offense has given up 9.

No one here has mentioned it...

SEC officials giving PSU only three downs and forcing them to punt essentially. If Penn State had lost the game, you could have disputed the damn thing based on that alone. No way these officials should be allowed on the field again.

I liked post-game, coach talking about how he borderline wanted to throw a challenge flag on his own guy's interception. Picking that thing at the goal line on a 4th and 18....... Great catch. Stupid, selfish football play.

I didn’t know the context of the interception. His situational awareness needs work, but those ball skills are just silly.
