Beamer is doing work.
Heard about Rattler. Figured you would be excited.

Looks like former 5 star WR Theo Wease is coming as well. It's between us and Bama right now, but on the radio they said inside sources say he's leaning to USC.

Not a fan of Spencer Rattler. Dude seems super immature from reports out of OU. Also leary of 5*'s who transfer.

But it's always great bring in talent though, it's a must to win in major college football when you have to play the Georgia and Clemson every season like South Carolina does.

He produces and he's ridiculously talented.

0 risk in bringing him in, especially when he brings 2 other 5 star players, too. He was benched because of attitude, but many reports are him and Riley hated each other. Not a great look for a kid, but again, 0 risk for one of the most talented QBs in the nation.

70% completion, 4595 yards 40TDs and 12 INTs with 166 QB rating in 20 games. That's better than any thing on our roster or any recruit we could start next year. If we can get past the attitude, which we may not, that's a crazy good addition.

Yeah, I’ve only read bad things about Rattler’s attitude and approach. But USC has to bet on talent.

I'd be surprised if he gets hired for next season. He's kryptonite right now.

Next season I could see some midmajor giving him a shot.

You think Meyer would humble himself to take a job at a mid-major?

He's probably been averaging around $5M/yr since he took the Florida job back in 2005. So that's what, $75 million dollars, if not more.

It's hard to know what really motivates a person, but imo Meyer should just walk away and work on his personal life. He seems a bit lost on that front and if that doesn't get fixed the standard of coaching success will never be there either.

I think he's due for an image rehab season off. Or at least a season where he screws off and we temporarily forget what a scumbag he is.

I don't know exactly how to define "mid-major" for these purposes. I don't think he'll take a job outside the Power 5, though I don't know if he'll get the keys to a marquee program. Would the FSU job make sense if Norvell gets canned after 2 years?

That's what I picture: A year or so off, then a lower-tier P5 school. Something in the ACC would make sense, because I think he's non grata in the SEC and B1G.

They are the best team in Florida. Florida is in the South East. You can figure it out the banner from there....

I’m usually anti-gimmick, but all of the bowl games outside the CFBP are fake anyways. Can we at least make it fun? Mandatory two point conversions, Field goal HORSE instead of overtime, etc

Gotta admit ... I'm watching the SC / UNC Duke's Mayo Bowl, just to see the coach get dowsed with mayonnaise

College restrictions make it worse, too. I'm watching Clemson in the Cheeze-It Bowl last night, and the defender takes a pick-6 right to the spot where they parked King Cheeze-It's throne. ANY player under ordinary circumstances would have immediately hopped into that throne. I mean, it was RIGHT THERE.

But no...... That would be unsportsmanlike....

I'd agree that that was a TD.

This is a hell of a game. Tennessee has run 103 offensive plays thus far. Bonkers.

Cincinnati trying to show speed but it appears it is inevitable that Bama will crack this open very soon.

Yeah I’ll be honest I’m not really keen on an automatic G5 playoff bid after this.
