Good morning Bucs fans! Game Day is here! This afternoon your 1-0 Tampa Bay Buccaneers open up Raymond James Stadium to the 2023 season as they take on the 0-1 Chicago Bears.

The Bucs are coming off of a solid 20-17 upset against the 2022 NFC North Champion Minnesota Vikings in Minneapolis. It's exactly the kind of start the Bucs hoped for from new QB Baker Mayfield.

The Bears on the other hand struggled mightily against their division rivals Green Bay Packers in Chicago, losing 38-20. They look to bounce back today against the Bucs.

The Bucs will be down several players today due to injury, including 2 starters



The Bears have their own drama as well. Starting OG Nate Davis is out for personal reasons.



It's gonna be hot today as it always is in Tampa during September. Let's hope for a great game, no (new) injuries, and a win to get the Bucs to 2-0

Considering it looked like their DC took last week off as well, that might be a good thing for the Bears. Eberflus has experience as a defensive playcaller.
