Should be an interesting week to see who bounces back, falls back, or maintains the surprise.

With Rodgers going out like that, the season kind of has a stain on it now. So many good games will now be shit with Wilson back under center.

I doubt it will happen, but hopefully, Rodgers plays next year so he can go out on his shield. It's so early in the season, that maybe he can do it. Does anyone know the drug testing policies for IR'd players? If they don't test, should go on the juice after having surgery to help with healing and then get clean for the 2024 season. Fuck it, they all do it anyway, at least this would be for a legit reason.

No stain on the season. It could be exciting if the Jets win the division with Wilson. Perhaps just having Rodgers in the building will help. It gives Rodgers an opportunity to prove he is a team guy and not a me guy.

Name the last un-drafted free agent the Bucs let go that turned into a stud elsewhere. Those are the guys Jason Licht finds and keeps.

Idk if I'd say they turned into studs elsewhere. They turned into those studs here then just went elsewhere. I don't think either reached some new heights on their new teams either.

Now should they have been kept? Perhaps. But Steve Youngs they were not.

I agree with Doctor about Blount and Bennett. The board back then was furious when those two walked.\

Whereas no one but MDB has ever heard of O'neal.

Ya know, Rodgers only played 4 snaps in that win against the Bills. That was 100% a "Wilson at QB" win.

Well,... the Vikings win might not be as impressive as we thought. They have given up 4 turnovers to the Eagles. Then again the Eagles only have 20 points off of 4 turnovers.

Eagles looked pretty bad week on offense. Most of the NFL starts off slow with the lack of preseason tbh.

What about the Eagles makes you feel that way? Two of the 4 fumbles were as fluky as the first Vikings fumble against the Bucs. Eagles have a good pass rush, but their secondary is a major suspect. And their passing offense is a suspect.

Not sure why you think their passing O is suspect when Hurts could have been MVP last season and not just for his legs.
That run game can leeeeeeaaaaaannnnn on you.
9 plays - 5:12
16 plays 7:55
15 plays 9:00
---
14 plays 7:18
10 plays 4:55
11 plays 4:22
7 Plays 4:00
---
Those are some of their scoring drive in the first two games of this season.
And when you get tired of getting hammered buy the hogmollies up front, they have (arguably) the best WR duo in the league to dominate you. Oh, and if that doesn't work, Hurts can slither around in or out of the pocket and pick up yards.

Spy him with LVD or DW45 if we have to, but either way, I think it'll be over by halftime.

Even if we assume the weaknesses you listed were true, the Bucs don't have anything to exploit them.

1st and foremost, if their pass rush is good, it doesn't matter what their secondary is. A good pass rush makes a "suspect" secondary look legendary sometimes. Our Oline isn't very good at all. PLUS our QB tries to play hero too often and holds on to the ball longer than he should. That's not a good recipe against a great pass rush.

Pass offense is suspect? In what way? A passing game featuring arguably the best WR duo in the league and a quality TE is anything but suspect. I worry about how we match up with Smith's speed.

I don't know if you're underrating the Eagles or overrating the Bucs. Could be both honestly, but I don't see us matching up well against them.

Philly may overlook us. Plus Hurts hasn't done well vs the Bucs in 2 games.

It'll be tough for sure though.

I mean....he's played two game against us two season ago. That really has nothing to do with anything at this point. That season, he really wasn't a good qb to begin with, but he's developed in to a legit MVP candidate.
After two games this season, he's completing 71% of his passes. I've only mentioned their offense, but that Dline is Sam Darnold, "I'm seeing ghosts" scary.
