As a general rule, the only players I would consider getting a midseason extension would be my undisputed core guys, those with a history on this team who I would want to keep around in the long-term regardless of injury or if they ended the year poorly, and at this stage for me that's a very short list only three names long -- Mike Evans, Antoine Winfield Jr, and Tristan Wirfs. Everybody else can wait for the offseason, Baker included.

As to the likelihood of us going 3-1 in the second quarter of the season, that's an interesting question. We host the Lions and Falcons, followed by road games at the Bills and Texans. I think that 3-1 is possible but I hesitate to say it's likely. 6-2 feels better than 5-3 for sure, but unless he's playing at a MVP level I wouldn't presume that Baker is the lone cause of that success.

@Bootz SF being 5-0/Philly being 5-0. Green Bay being 2-2. Are you going to stand by the fact 56% completion % and 8 TD/3 INT QB Jordan Love's team is top 2? Baker Mayfield takes less sacks than Love ffs. I thought SF and Philly were the biggest outs. Seems you can't evaluate talent as well as I can

Seems I got deep in your head with the entire 3 & out argument. You're broken now, calling me out and looking for a fight.

So let's end this: Whatever you say I said, you're right. I can't evaluate talent as well as you can. I'm going to stand by everything about Jordan Love, Baker Mayfield, the Niners and Packers and Eagles. You won.

We move on.

Taylor Swift is 33

Ain't that something?
That explains why she hit the wall.
@Snake, about that wall you said she hit... If it's a wall of gold, you may be right.
The Eras Tour film has already grossed more than $100m. The Taylor Swift economy is unstoppable.

$5bn: Overall economic impact

In May 2023, the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia noted in its Beige Book that Swift's Eras Tour stop was a boon for the city's tourism industry. The effect spread: the tour's opening night in Glendale, Arizona brought in more revenue for local businesses than the Super Bowl, held at the same venue earlier this year. Combined, there's a lot of money moving across the country: a June estimate from market-research firm QuestionPro estimated the economic impact of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour at $5bn for the US economy.

After two nights of concerts at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, the region's travel and tourism board Visit Cincinnati reported that Swift brought $90m to the greater Cincinnati area. Those concerts, held on 30 June and 1 July, each had about 60,000 attendees, many of whom travelled into the area for the shows. The hotels in downtown Cincinnati had a record-breaking 98% occupancy, and Visit Cincinnati noted the hotel revenue was double year-over-year; the visitor's bureau estimated that Swift is responsible for $7.9m added hotel revenue for those two concert days.

"A Taylor Swift concert is a vacation level of spending," says Egan. "It's about a good experience, not a good deal, and you're more comfortable spending a fair amount of money on it."

Never saw the appeal of Swift. She's way too thin, has no ass or tits, and her face is that of a dime a dozen preppy rich girl. Her music is the most bland mix of assembly line pop music and messages that traverse dangerously close to femcel territory. Nothing about her seems interesting or worth investing any time in.

I mean, she's rich, but so what?

As they should. The NFCS is really bad and the odds makers probably have the Bucs sweeping the NFCS. That is 6 wins. Plug in that the Bucs already beat 2 of the worst teams in the NFL in the Vikings and Bears, that puts the Buc's win total at 8 games. The Bucs play Houston, Tennessee and Green Bay. Winning 2 of those 3 games would put the Bucs win at 10. That would also mean the Bucs are the NFCS Champs.

Yeah, money is literally irrelevant when it comes to women. Taylor is equally as mid as a billionaire or whatever she is than if she were working the checkout at Target. In fact she would look much more fitting with a name badge and company approved dress code than she does as a celebrity.

Nope, been there and done that. Too much drama and games at that age, don't have the patience or the time to deal with that. Plus, there's something to be said for experience and a woman that's comfortable in her own skin. Few are at 22.

This is really awesome.
Taylor's sharing the wealth ... as we reported, she dished out over $50 million in total bonuses to her concert crew, and gave every truck driver hauling her tour equipment around the country an extra $100k.

I do not like Taylor Swift one bit, and I'm naturally skeptical towards any of this "look at how generous this celebrity is" blurbs, but if this is true then that's a big win for her and her crew. Not many would be willing to give out that much money to the grunt labor.

740 million dollars and she says “just the tip for the night”, you in?

If you say no, You’re either way smarter than me, or you have specific tastes. Any man would be lucky with Swift though.

I prefer more Latin women myself, truly though, Taylor is a true catch.
