From a historical perspective, the New England Patriots should be far more offensive to native Americas and the vocal minority that called for the Redskins to be renamed.

I always thought the slap in the face was calling them the Deadskins.. That was only to bolster my team and knock them down.

That's because you were raised by bigots.
If you got a plate, I got less. It builds character.

The hell is this thread about again?
It is a thread about prospective names for the NFL team based in Washington DC. But since you bring hell up, they could return to the Redskins with a logo of a bright red devil holding a pitchfork.

I was going to go with "ginger roofer" but that works too.
Now that Dan Snyder is gone, it's time to review his legacy. I never thought I'd see a worse owner than Culverhouse but I think Snyder has definitively taken his spot at the bottom. The man got ran right out of the NFL and fined 60 million as a parting gift, for enough offenses I need 500 pages to cover.

When quibbling about what to name the redskins has anyone put to thought - who just is the Harris group?

According to ESPN reporter Don Van Natta Jr., a third name change might be on the horizon.
“Yes, I think there’s a pretty good chance of that, to erase any part of the [Dan] Snyder legacy, to have a complete do-over,” Van Natta Jr. said on The Rich Eisen Show. “I would not be surprised at all if we see a name change and a complete rebranding.”
