Sounds like he’ll be overdrafted. If he goes to a good/great situation he could certainly be successful though. Unfortunately the higher you’re drafted typically the worse the situation is.

Jayden is a 5th year college player with a slight build and only one year of great production throwing to 2 obviously elite WRs. I can see why teams may value another QB higher. I'm not saying I do, but I can see why the NFL does. They just watched another #1 overall QB with a slight build look completely overwhelmed by the league.

Now, this is also that time of year where it doesn't really matter what the media or X folks say. Right?

Caleb - "generational", Luck/Burrow
Maye - one step down from generational, Trevor Lawrence, shades of Burrow
Daniels - yearly dice roll on a mobile QB, see Stroud/Love of last year
McCarthy - winning college QB with an arm, Winston/Mayfield

Daniels’s pro day looked awful and stiff. But a guy like that doesn’t excel in that particular setting.

I don't think anyone had Burrow to the level of TL as a prospect. Until the Natty and the injury, most had Tua as the better prospect. Caleb, Luck, and TL were fawned over since they were in High School.

I see McCarthy as a Mac Jones, Daniel Jones type prospect.

These are just prospect rankings/comparisons, not how they turned out, but the Burrow thing I'm pretty adamant about as many questioned his arm strength and was barely on the radar for draft mocks until his final year at LSU.

edit: I see a lot of comparisons to Lamar that I do Daniels. People still question his ability to QB at a high level. His legs are his number 1 attribute. That wasn't said about Stroud.

Winston was also pretty highly coveted, there were tank talks for Winston like Tua before his final season or TL, etc.

Another I'll throw in is I see Milton as a Kyle Boller prospect. Insane arm, but super inaccurate in College. I think some team will over draft him due to his insane arm.

I think teams are taking the foot off the gas on these mobile QB prospects and Daniels falls to #6 NYG or #11 MIN.

Obviously, the talent is there. But I can already tell you that he's going to be a high maintenance pain in the ass based purely on his chosen attire.

Depends where they end up. Catching passes from Kyler Murray, Caleb Williams or Justin Herbert may give you a chance at a better career than Daniel Jones, Will Levis, or Aidan O’Connell.

Personally I think they’re both gonna be great. Nabers will be Justin Jefferson while Harrison will be Ceedee Lamb. The numbers prolly wont diverge much. Also think Odunze will be great.

I agree, the route running and technique of Harrison Jr makes him an elite prospect. Also makes him far closer to his ceiling than Nabers
