I am going to have to decide soon whether or not I still support the Rays and baseball all together. I can't keep doing this. After 18 years all I've learned is the rich get richer. I am glad for the new ballpark but I am sick of this poverty mindset with every decision the Rays make. They might as well just dump Shane too and be done with it. God knows if he earns $25 million he's gone anyway

We have traded better pitching away over the last 10 years than anyone else. I don't think there is any question about that.

We will also throw in all-star shortstops who hit 30 HR and are in MVP discussions.



It's sickening for us to. Our payroll is 1/2 what it was in the fucking 90's. (without adjusting for inflation!)

I believe in the Rays formula. Glasnow came to the Rays as a secondary piece in the Chris Archer trade. The Rays got him, Austin Meadows AND Shane Baz for Chris Archer. Imagine that right. Glasnow developed into the guy he is today. It’s likely that trend will continue.

The Rays know what they’re doing in these deals. This trade is linked to Delmon Young.
