If I'm the Blue Jays, I almost want to tank.... errr.... rest my guys for this Rays series. Drop down, get the Twinsies in the first round, and also get put in the Texas bracket instead of the Baltimore one. Much easier path to the ALCS. THEN they can face off with the Rays.

I think the Cubs, Braves and Orioles all did extremely well. Tampa Bay did well all things considered as well.

Turned out even better than I expected for the Rays. The Rangers pitching, or lack there of, is why they dropped out of their division lead and almost missed the playoffs. They can hit, I will give them that. But on the road they are a different team.

At this point I'll just be happy if the Rays can win the series. This team is so freaking banged up it's not even funny. Like I lost hope of a World Series in about the span of a week when McClanahan and Franco went out of action. Whatever happens I don't think I'm going to be upset. Probably the most important thing that happened was when they got the stadium deal worked out. I don't know if that's bigger than winning the World Series but it's pretty comparable in terms of significance
