Kudos to the committee. They got it right. Bama vs Michigan. Wow.

I think the only big mistake they could have made was keeping FSU in (which Im glad they didnt)

I think between TX, Ga and Bama a legit argument could be made for all of them

Why play the games? This is why the committee is going to 12 teams next year. So they don’t have to show their bias anymore.

And Georgia is better than Washington and Texas. They should have gotten in since they are one of the 4 best.

That's what makes the "4 best teams" argument complete bullshit. Georgia still creams all of these teams if everyone is at their best.

All because a 6 loss auburn team couldn't stop a 4th and goal from the 31yd line

They played the games, dude. We saw what happened yesterday. FSU played like garbage and Bama beat the No 1 team in the country who hadn’t lost in 29 games. Bama is the better team, and the committtes goal is to put the 4 best teams in. I don’t think there’s any comparison between FSU and Bama today.

Again, I ask, if you took FSU and gave them Alabamas schedule and told them they have to play with a backup qb all year..would they still go undefeated? Because you have to factor in the injury.

Then make the argument for Florida State being ranked 5th over Georgia. Because by your logic they are a better team.

Dude, they don’t have Travis. I said it’s a different story if he’s in there. He’s not. They don’t beat Clemson or prolly LsU or even BC with the other qbs they have. It’s a different team. The committee said that plain as day.

The committee says a lot of things that conflict. They say it’s only this year that matters. But then they’ll slip up during their explanation and mention legacy and 29 straight wins. I thought last year didn’t matter?

Travis isn't coming back. So why is an FSU team without Jordan Travis better than a healthy Georgia team?

They make multiple different arguments and cases to get to 1 single conclusion. @Navybuc is dying on this "best teams" hill but can make a case for Florida State being better than Georgia.

They're not. I think FSU should be further down, below even OSU, but they take into account conference titles.

Do I think these are the four best teams? No. I think Georgia and Ohio State are both better than Washington. But based on the whole criteria they use, it's the four right teams.

Just like you can't make a good case for FSU being over Alabama, which is what this debate is about.

Your own argument against FSU doesn't even follow the criteria you've based here. You're unknowingly admitting the committee didn't get this right.

That's an easy case. Florida State doesn't have a home 2 score loss. Florida State didn't barely skate by multiple teams who won't even be Bowl eligible. If that's the argument then the committee has had it wrong for weeks by having Bama as low as they did. I don't even have time ask if you agree because based on your argument here you do.

God, I get why people say they get a headache talking with you. You get way too stupid technical with things. The committee got it right. Bottom line. The four teams that should be in there are in there. End of story. Even Herbsteit said the same thing. These are the four best teams.

But they aren’t the best teams. The chances of Washington beating Georgia, and Ohio State is very low.

Washington benefited from being in a trash conference. Their defense got lit up multiple times by not great teams.

B1G Michigan can finally play an SEC opponent and delegitimize that conference’s supposed dominance once and for all.

Absolutely. Undefeated Power 5 conference champ. This is the 1st time that formula hasn't gotten a team into the playoff.

Conference Championships matter. Starting next year, no matter what, if you win your conference you're in the final 12.

How far down the list will the Texas / Wash game be? One of bottom five least watched semi’s?

Bama vs Mich will definitely be top 5

And that's fine. You don't screw FSU because Washington went ham on a sawft ass conference. This is Boise State energy. Getting Bama in was like advocating for Notre Dame with the whole "You can't not have THEM in" nonsense

Hopefully Michigan just curbstomps everyone. They're the only team left other than Texas I don't have a problem with

Watching FSU last night was embarrassing. Any objective person knows they didn’t deserve to be in the final 4.

The committee did the right thing.

I mean, if you think it's going to be a massacre, bet on it. It's only 4.5. If it was FSU-Texas or FSU-UM, it probably would have been -14.

I feel bad for FSU. I like Norvell. But the injury to Travis makes all the difference in the world. They've looked like crap offensively the last two weeks without him. They would gain about as many yards against Michigan as Iowa did last night..if they played UM.
