Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody announced Tuesday that she is launching an investigation into the College Football Playoff selection committee over the decision to leave Florida State out of the Top 4.

Id love to see emails/communication that may have occurred between the bitch committee.

For nothing else, just to expose the corrupt money hungry fuckers for what they are.

Why do the Attorney General waste her time on it?

Stupid move on their part. The playoff is expanding next year and conference champs automatically now get top 4 seed. In the ACC, they have it made. In the Big 10, they have to deal with much better teams and will have to travel cross-country like 5 times a year.

The positive is the money they’ll get, of course.
That's all that matters too them.

I haven't looked into it, but I heard - from some random rumor mill - that the ACC can try to strong-arm a TV contract renegotiation now that they added California and Texas markets. Not that it will help all that much, but it must be better than the crap deal they are locked into right now.

Nothing can help the ACC. They may as well disband now.

Big 10 and SEC are so far ahead of the ACC and Big 12 now. Those two conferences have to get their remaining best teams together....even if they did that, it wouldn't be as strong as the other two.

The SEC should target Pittsburgh, considering that the Big Ten already has PSU.

Here's his full diatribe:

"Because Alabama is BETTER!! Period! So is Texas. So is Michigan. So is Washington. So is Oregon. So is Georgia. I watch 10-15 games a week live from September-early December. I think I’m allowed to have an opinion on who I think is BETTER!! If FSU doesn’t like itbis “The BEST 4” tell the conference commissioners to change the protocol to “MOST DESERVING.” Until then I and everyone else is certainly is allowed to give an opinion in a subjective discussion!! Don’t like it-change it. Its funny when FSU went ahead of The U in 2000 after Dorsey and the boys beat the Noles and FSU went instead of a deserving Canes team to the BCS Championship where they lost to Oklahoma I didn’t hear from all of you about the system being rigged and it’s not fair. You were big fans of the turnout back then-of course most of you, in this despicable lunatic fringe, probably didn’t even know about 2000 when the Noles got the benefit over a GREAT Miami team! Listen man I have always loved FSU going back to the 80’s. Bobby Bowden-the uni’s-the swag-the consistency-something about that brand I was always attracted to and what happened with 5-6 teams having a shot at the playoff and the Noles being undefeated and left out-SUCKS-but I have to give an opinion on who I think the best 4 teams are. I’m not on the committee-I don’t vote-I watch games-I analyze teams and I give my take. That’s it. And if you think I have an agenda or a motive I’m sorry you feel that way but it’s wrong. I love this sport and care about it deeply and can’t make everyone happy-I ask questions of the commissioners in the offseason to understand things clearly-Watch games and give my opinion. If it’s for your team you love me and if it’s against you hate me. I wish it were different and hopefully next year with 12 teams it will be. I am a huge fan of Coach Norvell’s and his team and wish the Noles nothing but the best.

Saw a funny meme today …. Florida is standing up in support of their in-state brother FSU and has elected not to play a bowl game this year to protest FSU’s treatment

this whole "best teams" angle has no merit when an odds maker stated..

If GA was against Wash, GA would be favorited
If GA was against UM, GA would be favorited
If OSU was against Wash, OSU would be favorited

To say the 'best teams' is the criteria, then OSU/GA would be in over Wash.

Yeah. I got nothing for that. Sadly, it's all still subjective. May as well go back to the old days when the AP writers decided everything.

Bowl season starts today which means I just blindly bet on the underdog in many games leading up to NY. Did it the last few years and came on top nicely.

Cool story, bro, but let me know how you do on top 4. I predict that you will lose everything. Everyone bet on underdogs Navy. You're not the only one, lol.

Actually it’s the opposite. Most people bet on favorites. That’s why I like the dogs. And they’re killing it today.

As for final 4, ehhh…may play it but nothing big. Don’t have a feel for either game.

Bowl games just seem like a crap shoot to me because, with opt-outs, you can't even get a firm grasp on what team will show up. Take any given team, remove its QB, best OT, 2 best WR's, best DT and best corner, then trot it out there against an opponent who removed its own QB, plus its center, RB, Edge, LB and two corners, and have at it.

Expect the big announcement soon.

Florida State starting process of leaving ACC "will have an ‘Oppenheimer-like’ ripple effect" thru out college landscape, source told @ActionNetworkHQ. As one of biggest TV brands, FSU could land in Big Ten or SEC, and if those aren't options, the Big 12, sources said

That sounds wishy-washy as hell. We'll leave the ACC! And go to the SEC, or MAC, or Pac26, or the IOCAPATAWest, or something!
