I say flea flicker every play. Fake them out with the run. Then double fake them out pitching it back to Brady. Suckas! We're gonna do what we love!

We passed 14 out of our first 15 plays. Just terrible.

And the run game was so much more efficient than the pass game it's not even funny.

After the game talking to Jordan he said their plan was to hit Brady as much as possible and build off that momentum.

That's exactly what happened. As the defense had success they got stronger and stronger.

I don't mind the passing game at all, we do have Brady and some weapons, but you have to keep in mind who you're playing.

We can finesse teams at time and throw almost every down.

The Saints however want to play physical, they want to dish out the hits instead of taking them.

That DL getting to rush the passer makes them better. They aren't worried about the run.....

Jordan isn't worried about containment and stopping the run, he just comes every play......

We make him look better than he is because we play right into his strong suit.

And what makes it worse they have a few very good DB's as well.

This game we know the Saints probably aren't going to score much, we don't need an ariel display to win.

We need to give our guys a chance to play bully ball upfront, work the run heavy and get physical with our bigs.

We played exactly into their hands. I just can't get it, 14 of 15 plays we were throwing it to start the game?

Love Brady but are we trying to win games or padding his career late and pushing him to win the MVP?

Some games you can do that, some teams and situations you should not.

Until Leftwich (and others) understand that we are going to get our asses kicked by the better staffs.

I agree with everyone that we need to run the ball more. I also think Jones is a much better runner and would like to see him on 1st and 2nd down even if Lenny is OK. Tell the hogs upfront to just go knock the slobber out of the guy in front of them for the first few plays.

The other team plays a part in us running the ball. We ran the ball 21 times for 3 first downs which is half of our average first downs per game.

No I'm not wanting 42 rushes for 6 first downs.

We only average 6 1st downs a game?

(rushing)
Little more. 14 games 88 first downs.

Wait! There's more! 313 attempts and 7 went over 20 yards.

Want more? We do have 31 rushes of more than 10 yards.

313 minus 31 = 282

282 minus 7 = 275

That's as far as I have info for but I'd guess many of those 275 rushes are for about 2 yards.

We ran 20 times for 118 yards. We threw it 48 times for 188 yards!!!!!

I didn't think it was even possible to be that bad.

And we threw a pick, fumbled once trying to scramble and got sacked several times trying to throw it.

Anyone watched that game and thought we need to throw more would be a drunken idiot.

BTW that thing they called a QB just threw it 13 times to get 151 yards!?

Brady threw it more than 3 1/2 times to get 188 yards - 48 throws. LOL.

Yeah, we didn't throw it enough. Sigh.

And the worst part of being so efficient in the run game versus the pass game is we were never down more than 1 score until the very end of the game.

Not like we were forced to have these gaudy numbers because we were playing behind a big deficit.

I'm just going to assume you're trolling, no way anyone thought we didn't pass enough in this game.

No way.

Took 48 attempts to get 188 yards!!? What is that less than 4 yards per attempt? Geez.

I can't remember the last time a QB threw almost 50 times for less than 200 yards.

The pass game was record setting in futility and that's not counting the fumble, the pick and the sacks.

IDK even know what you are trying to say?

If we run on 1st down and pick up 8 yards it's not productive because we didn't pick up a 1st down?

LF averaged almost 4 YPC, Vaughn and Jones both averaged over 6 YPC, Jones was over 7 I think......

But you saw a game where we needed to throw it more?

Sorry, I know you aren't that stupid.

We move on.

@Patrick McIrish I've moved on. Wasnt the discussion about what we should do against the Panthers?

I'm fine doing some running, make it matter.

That would've excited me 2 years ago and even then he was on the decline.

To put it in perspective, Baltimore had 3 RBs put on I.R. and he still couldn't last on their roster.

Buccaneers now are “likely” to place RB Leonard Fournette on injured reserve with the hamstring injury that left him on crutches Sunday night, per a league source. He then would miss rest of regular season.

Just seeing that he's likely to go on IR as well. So is LVD. He's expected to miss a month

Yea and while we're at it someone find the kill shot to O'Connor's knee, the play Evans hamstring was pulled on purpose, and when Fournette's leg was stretched beyond the limit.

I saw the Lenny play where a big boy had to get in a lick.

I saw where they are saying Godwin has ACL and MCL ligament damage. Watching him walk, they had to be partial tears. When does he go under the knife

Godwin for year
Lenny rest of regular season
David rest of regular season

It's just comical at this point. Damn near scripted.

I am assuming Mike will be on the shelf with the elf. Brown will be back but I suspect he will be rusty and not see 100% of the snaps. I assume Perriman will be back. This leaves us Scotty Miller, Tyler Johnson, and Jaelon Darden. Do we have other receivers I have forgotten? Will the team put effort into the running game and go with two tight ends more often?
I don't believe that crap. SMB came back Arians said he hopes to play him 20 snaps, and SMB played all but 3 snaps. So yeah, don't listen to Arians. He will play him as much as he needs him. I believe we will probably play Brown outside, Tyler Johnson mostly in slot, and Perriman mostly outside. Scotty will take snaps from the outside for the starter to rest, and limited reps outside for Darden. Darden is too small for slot in Arians offense.

With Mike and his injury play it seemed that he just smashed his back when I saw his face respond with pain. That went to hammy no return. So I don't know.

One of those players has 11 attempts. It would be like flipping a coin 10 times. 7 times the coin came up heads so now you believe that there is a 70% chance that flipping a coin ends up heads. You can't make an accurate assessment on that few carries.
