New HC if the Bucs move on from Bowles.

Post by GreatTimes »

As has been suggested by several posters, now that Brady has retired (for good this time), will the Bucs decide to move on from Bowles?
If that happens, who is out there that could replace him?
Bienemy of the KC Chiefs
Ken Dorsey, OC of Buffalo Bills.
Any other suggestions?

Hard to say who the good candidates will be in a year.

Edit: I just read the OP. Anyone thinking Bowles will be fired now that Brady has retired is trolling.

If they fired Bowles mere days after letting him fire the offensive staff and take press conferences……because of Brady retiring…

I can’t even entertain the possibility. That level of incompetency isn’t fathomable.

The Glazers would never get a decent coach in here again.

If Malcolm Glazer is still alive, he’ll make sure we get a damn good coach

No one could take this organization seriously again. Not even the players.

Tom Brady when he gets re-tired of being retired. Then he can mentor Jameis.

No one is taking the organization seriously now that Brady is gone. If I were a coach I wouldn't want to come to Tampa.

It’s too bad Eric Bieniemy not getting more love. I think he’s an outstanding coordinator that should be given a HC chance somewhere.

You prefer selling shoes to bimbos, right Al? (sorry, had to bring some humor)

I think a large number of coaches would come to Tampa if they had a 4 year contract and a three year commitment on being able to build the roster. Ownership has to be up front with the coach that they know there will two years of pain to clear the dead cap, but expect to see progress with drafted players so when there is space in year three the team can take a jump.

I don't know where these moronic "why would anyone come here" posts have come from but they read like gen z in anti-depressants.

Of course coaches will come to Tampa, it's called money.

I agree with that. I think they are also confident THEY can turn a team around. Similar to how so many feel they can turn a failed 1st round pick around. I have no fears about coaches coming her other than those that think Bowles is likely to fail and not a good coach to work with.

Given a 4 year contract with a minimum of 3 years to rebuild the roster.
