You shoulda stopped after Jordan Travis. Seeing Spencer Rattler’s name up there made me vomit a bit. But yeah, those first few are solid.Kona wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 8:13 am Caleb Williams (USCw), Drake Maye (UNC), Michael Penix (have fun with those jersey sales) Jr.(Washington), Quinn Ewers (Texas), Jayden Daniels (LSU), Jordan Travis (FSU), Bo Nix (Oregon), Spencer Rattler (USCe), JJ McCarthy (Michigan), Michael Pratt (Tulane).
All guys who could be early picks next year. Sure some will fall, but there’s always a few that come out of nowhere too. I haven’t seen a QB class this top heavy in quite some time. If Baker and Trask shit the bed, it’s a good a year as any to draft a QB even if we miss out on Caleb.

This isn't a top heavy class. I'd bet 2/3 of these guys are Day 2 & 3 picks.Kona wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 8:13 am Caleb Williams (USCw), Drake Maye (UNC), Michael Penix (have fun with those jersey sales) Jr.(Washington), Quinn Ewers (Texas), Jayden Daniels (LSU), Jordan Travis (FSU), Bo Nix (Oregon), Spencer Rattler (USCe), JJ McCarthy (Michigan), Michael Pratt (Tulane).

Or pick 3
Or get 3 I mean
Re: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Official 2023 Off Season Thread
It seems a lot more likely that Nix, Rattler, and a couple others end up 5th to 7th rounders. Just my opinion.
Will be fun to watch play out.

If I was Lindsey Scott, I'd want to throw a pass to Mike Evans.
If I was mdb, I'd wanna know what Mike Evans thought about his throw.

It's a great class. The were 100% right to pass on Hooker/Levis and punt this year at QB entirely.Kona wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 8:13 am Caleb Williams (USCw), Drake Maye (UNC), Michael Penix (have fun with those jersey sales) Jr.(Washington), Quinn Ewers (Texas), Jayden Daniels (LSU), Jordan Travis (FSU), Bo Nix (Oregon), Spencer Rattler (USCe), JJ McCarthy (Michigan), Michael Pratt (Tulane).

BTW for anyone wondering those numbers I posted were Jameis and Caleb prior to their walk years..
Re: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Official 2023 Off Season Thread
This QB class is very seasoned. A lot of these guys are "older" (23-24) have 5-6 years in the college, and have transferred at 1 time or another. That fabricated "3 year window" for QBs is shrinking to 1-2 years with all of the experience guys are getting in college.

Very well could be. Also wouldn’t be shocked to see them as Heisman finalists when it’s all said and done. Will definitely be a fun college football season keeping an eye on all these guys. Only 3 1/2 months to go!

A "what" scenario for Bootz and whoever else.
ROLB: Barrett,Nelson,Ramirez,Snowden,Watts - If cut by Seattle Joshua Onujiogu
LOLB: Tryon,Diabi,Gill,Hamilcar Rashed,Brandon Bouyer-Randle - If cut by Seattle Chris Garrett
Both OLB's could be looked at for competition, player question marks, and future process.
If Washington cuts Joshua Pryor, don't even think about it - pick him up fast as possible. Same with N.E. and Sam Roberts.
Sidenote: With Green Bay I'll be curious to see how many snaps Karl Brooks gets behind Kenny Clark and Devonte Wyatt.
Cincy and Devonsha Maxwell behind a slew of DT's.
Also what the heck if anything the Chiefs will do with Truman Jones.

We are at 90 players now but are we done making moves?
Re: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Official 2023 Off Season Thread
I guess Licht is telling all his draft picks - I wish I could do better. That would explain why a lot of my UDFA's run to the money instead.
Or I'm full of it and they got exactly want they wanted and I hope all go after their dream..

DW 45 just twittered, "Thank you 54" with a pic of he and LVD embracing on the field.
Is LVD hanging it up or am I reading too much in to this?

Addition by Subtraction.

For the price he wants? Absolutely.
Re: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Official 2023 Off Season Thread
When speaking in terms of addition by subtraction one should have his replacement posted. Before it happens would be even better..

We cut Dylan Cook and a few days later he is third inline behind Broderick Jones on the Steelers squad. I wonder if he asked for his release.

Re: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Official 2023 Off Season Thread
If there are 4 great LB's coming out in the next draft, the Bucs would certainly be in position to draft one of them if my W-L prediction )3-14) is in the ballpark. But if the Bucs offensive line can't make holes for the running backs and can't provide more than 2 seconds of pass protection for the QB's, the Bucs will probably select a QB in the first round.

SI proposed this, I think this is decent for us, Not because of Jeudy but the draft capital coming back.
