Yeah - gotta be tough to be outplayed by a UDFA from Brown University.

We're gonna be back to taking delay of games to make the FGs longer for him.

He's missed 2 of 90. He's also only missed one FG inside 40 out of 32 attempts. Strange stats between 40-49.

And after the pick he'll tell you the guy was a guy that he's been watching since high school who was the number one target of the franchise the day after Dallas retired Brady.

Is there anything easier to do with football fans than hype a new player on the team?

After our first three picks who are your Buc worthy players? Right now it's set at 6 players.

Logan Ryan gotta be coming back ya? When healthy he was pretty good for us I thought and were quite thin at safety right now.

I would think so. He shouldn't be expensive, and his versatility - especially given our recent track record of DB injuries - is huge.

He's part of that recent track record of DB injuries. The only one who was sent to IR last year.

Agree, it would make sense.

Right now, we have two safeties under contract: AWJR, and Nolan Turner, a former Clemson Tiger with 1 career tackle.

We absolutely should sign Ryan provided he'll play dirt cheap. And I'm sure we'll be drafting someone, the only question is when.

I’m not sure Logan Ryan is interested in coming back here for cheap in a transition season. He’s 32, if he’s going to settle for a dirt cheap contract I imagine he wants to do so for a contender.

It's a fair point, but I agree with MDB - we probably represent one of his few opportunities for a starting role at this point. Maybe that's important to him?

He’s got a family and has won chips already… maybe he’d rather stay put? Wishful thinking perhaps.

Maybe it’s just me, but if I was 32 and my free agency choices were down to just signing a cheap one year deal with a team like the Bucs in the middle of a roster transition/rebuild, then I would probably prefer retiring in good health.

Here’s the safety pickup. The value looks pretty good on this depending on money. He was a PFF favorite in Seattle last year.

This reminds me of when we lost Bradley McDougald to the Seahawks after the 2016 season. Feels like a bigger loss than it actually is sometimes.

He had a couple nice years with Seattle I recall. Also led to us drafting a safety in round 2 over Cook and Kamara lol so that hurt.

Ryan Neal was a restricted free agent with the Seahawks until yesterday, when they rescinded his tender because they had signing Julian Love during free agency to be their third safety, making Neal expendable. Not sure why they waited to rescind that tender until yesterday, but he's been a "regular" free agent for less than 24 hours.

A quick Google search and three minutes of reading would've saved that egg from landing on your face, but here we are.

A quick Google search would've also uncovered that Neal received the lowest tender, a 1 yr/ $2.6mil deal with no draft pick compensation. A team could've signed him for a measly $2.6mil and the only thing they'd risk is the Seahawks matching. But not 1 team felt he was worth $2.6mil.

So when talking about egg on one's face, here's a rag for you, kiddo.
