Rapid Reactions: Bucs 2022 Season comes to an end with a WC loss

Post by Nano »

In the end, we looked like the same team on offense that had taken the field back in week 1. A defense that was tired, and lacking energy. And a HC that looks like he perpetually whiffed a fart. Injuries abound....but a glimmer of hope. The 2022 Bucs season has come to an end

I was told wearing white at home would make a difference. I was told Dallas sucked on the road in the playoffs.

A loss was expected after the way the team did this year. I felt this was on coaching most of the year. I still feel that way. I honestly think the coaching staff has to go. I am unsure about Licht. I understand trying to hold on to what they had from 2020... first we run it back... had a great season, but lost to the Rams. Going into 2022 once Brady decided not to retire that made sense. I never felt good about Bowles. He was terrible in NY. He has been terrible here.

I hope to see the coaching staff fired by the end of the week.

I'm just glad it's over. We all knew this was the endgame for the season, even if some on here wanted to live in denial while inhaling copium.

Not a single change in leadership will take place, so we can only hope that we are shit enough next year to get the #1 pick and MAYBE a new regime change.

I truly hope that is not the case. Money be damned fired coaches do not count against the salary cap. I would like to have a new coaching staff get one year in with the roster before they decide on QB next. Even if Brady stays I can not see Leftwhich and Bowles being effective.

A lot of people will point fingers, but this ones on the coaches. This team was not ready. We didn’t run the ball at all. We failed to make adjustments. And the team lacked heart. That’s something we never saw under Arians. We seem to see it a lot under Bowles.

I just want to congratulate the Glazers and Jason Licht for building a franchise that can get the worst case scenario and still win the division.

Reload, gents.

Literally the only adjustment we made was going to a 100% shotgun offense

He played his worst game as a Buc, this was not on him. I want to thank Tom Bardy for, a Super Bowl and 3 years of competitiveness. I wouldn't trade anything for it.

The Defense and Offensive game plan was shissshhh. I may have more to say tomorrow, but tonight I just want to thank TOM.

Anyone shisshh on Tom, FU, we have been it it since he got here after years of crap. I loved always being in it, now we move on and hope, that this organization sells out again or Tom comes back for one more.

The Defenses biggest mistake. Was thinking Tryon Shoyinka was good or even better than JPP, or that he could cover. Man so much so much on the defense.

Talk to you guys in a couple, i need to decompress

This is the true #BradyEffect. Kiss his ass as much as possible. Wow, says he plays his worst game and it's not his fault. Pathetic.

It was not all oh him. Were there bad throws. Yes. The INT in the endzone was on him. The dropped pass off the finger tips of Evans was not on him. Overall, the issue has been coaching. it has been bad on both sides of the ball all year.

Sit the f down man. I have suffered for years before Tom got here, this year sucked, but Tom Brady brought us special moments. To be in the show, it is always great, only one wins, that's the point of this. Only one fan base can brag and be happy.

Have fun kissing Trasks anus. So much unknowns for the future, but you wanna be ass.

Pretty rich coming from you since you have both Bowles and Leftwich face down ass up so you can really get erotic with your ass kissing.

Good times is when LUGZ/A-Train/whoever the fuck you were got the ax for your bullshit. I made a plea for you to stick around here as "BucsNBills" when I knew it was you before you stopped being a pathetic coward and admitted it. Don't make me go back on that and have you banned yet again. It can happen, kiddo. Know your place.

All 3 were partial tears then. Grade 2 at worst on all 3. No chance he completely tore any of those ligaments and won't need surgery.

I think BOOTZ is going to relish in telling us how much this teams sucks for about 8 years. He is going to love saying I told you so. People who don't appreciate what they had while they had it tend to like to try and gloat.

Rapid Reactions? Okay.

1) Todd Bowles is who we thought he was - a fucking middle manager playing at being a leader of men who squeezed 8 wins out of team with legit Superbowl aspirations despite an easy schedule and a joke division.
2) Byron Leftwich's sole qualification for his job was standing next to Bruce Arians for a few years. Call a few more screens there, Fat Albert.
3) Everyone who defended The Lard Lad Left Tackle with shit like, "He's still young!" and "He rarely gets hurt!" and "It's really hard to find a good left tackle!" can reap the whirlwind of his incredibly shitty play. Easily the Buccaneers LVP. Maybe the LVP offensive lineman for the entire league.
4) Goedeke is a fucking Master's Thesis on why you don't reach for need in the draft. What an awful player. He'd block more rushers standing still.
5) Credit to Licht for trying to beat his 2014 free agent class in terms of suck.
6) Credit to Licht for turning two drafts into a good punter and a few role players.
7) Credit to Devin White for guessing the right hole on maybe one out of every four run plays. We should trade him NOW. Full stop.
8) If playing the incredibly shitty SMB over Jamel Dean was Todd Bowles's way of keeping Dean affordable in free agency, 4D chess. Otherwise he's a goddamn idiot.
9) Actual credit to Ryan Jensen for coming back for this game. I've been critical of him over the years, but now I'm hoping he retires while he can still walk (and we can save some cap room on an aging player.) Dude is a warrior. He deserves better than lifelong pain from playing for THIS team.
10) Tom Brady looked very old tonight.
11) I understand, Mike Edwards, football coverages can be confusing sometimes.
12) I wanted to throw up every time the announcers tried to goose the ratings with some, "The Bucs have Tom Brady, you never know..." shit. Either they didn't want us this year or they didn't think the audience did.

In conclusion, Fuck the 2022 Buccaneers. There have been MANY Buccaneers teams in my lifetime that were worse than this team. But I can't remember one with this much talent be this sloppy, mediocre, and disappointing.

Nuke this thing from space. It's the only way to be sure.
"So let's get to the point
Let's roll another joint
And let's head on down the road
There's somewhere I got to go..."
