Pretty sweet
Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
Love those unis, and I get titans were the oilers franchise. Just odd to wear a throwback for a city you no longer play in, much less one occupied by a division rival.

Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
I thought they did for a few seasons as they played in Memphis at first while stadium in Nashville was being completed?
Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
They did. Went by the Tennessee Oilers back then when Steve McNair was getting going.
Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
Heh, never new that. I stand corrected
Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
Awesome news for the Giants
Surprise!
The #Giants and star RB Saquon Barkley agreed to terms on a new 1-year deal worth up to $11M, sources say, as Barkley gives himself a chance to beat the franchise tag. He gets a $2M signing bonus.
Bottom line: Barkley is coming in & will be at training camp.
Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
Joshua Onujiogu is on the Seattle Seahawks but I cannot find him under contract with Spotrac - how is this possible?
Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
Cam Gill's foot will prolly be like Justin Evans foot - so I say he'd be a good pick up for us if he gets cut.

We'll see. He has no problems playing like a top tier QB in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarter. But 4th quarter, OT, 3rd down and red zone are the "only" things he struggles with.Selmon Rules wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 7:16 pmHe's not the problem but he is going to be part of the solution
He is a QB you can build around and turn him loose

Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
I mean honestly, what's the difference between Herbert and Kirk Cousins other than Cousins wins a lot more?

Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
I'd never prop up Tua or Fields to be the highest paid QB in league history.
Seriously, what's the difference between him and Cousins?

Good God!! It's getting worse! Don't know if this or the Herbert extension is worse.

Amount of money in pro sports is getting incomprehensible. I’m not just talking the players. I’m talking about the teams. Is viewership and revenue really going up that much? Gee whiz

One will be 35 and descending, the other is 10 years younger and ascending, guided his team to a better record each season thus far, and is regarded as having one of the best arms in the game… totally the same player.

Code: Select all
Per, Tom Pelissero: The Jets signed four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers to a new two-year, $75 million guaranteed contract through the 2024 season, per NFL salary data.
Rodgers had nearly $110M guaranteed remaining on his old deal in GB. He’s taking less for a shot at a ring (or two) in New York.

This is. This. Chargers had to sign Herbert and the deal was market-driven.
Diggs gets burned more than Eli Apple. This is a Jerryworld Dark-Timeline move circa 2000-2010 or so.

Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
CTE is real. And 32 of 32 GMs, including Chicago's, would trade Fields for Lawrence so fucking fast there'd be a Road Runner style dust outline from the GM running to the phone to accept. Justin Fields is still squarely in the, "So, what is this guy?" category as a player. Lawrence grew into the guy he was supposed to be in real time the last few months of the season.

Lawrence is overrated and Fields underrated imo.
What Fields showed as a runner last year was special, like better than prime Vick special. If he takes a step as a passer watch out- and I think he does with an improved OL and DJ Moore. Bears will definitely be a game pass team for me this year.

What’s the difference between Fields playing QB and Adrian Peterson playing QB? Or LT?real bucs fan wrote: ↑Wed Jul 26, 2023 11:28 pm Lawrence is overrated and Fields underrated imo.

They all run in a special way and none can throw.
Why not just keep a RB at QB always?
