Not trying to take anything away from the rest of your post, but Dad was quoting Marx here and I love that.

Jay glazer saying GB offered a first rounder for Moore in 2022. If you think about it that way:

CHI gives up 1 overall
CAR gives up three 1s (two real ones and DJ Moore) and two 2s. I’d say the bears won that trade (on its face) in a landslide.

This also means, IMO, that CHI will stick with Fields, which is a terrible decision.

Edit: quick, name a plus skill position player on CAR…

Panthers fans seem to want Stroud, most.

Some are concerned about how poorly he’s performed under pocket pressure. Like, dead last in CFB bad.

Over the last 4 years, Moore ranks 7th in total receiving yards…and that was with guys like Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, and PJ Walker throwing him the ball. That’s why I say it’s like another #1 pick added on for the Bears.

By the way, who is Carolinas #1 WR right now? Laviska Shenault? Yikes.

Something like 20. And that assumes they don’t pick up the club options for CJ Henderson and Brown, the DT.

RIP Bud Grant!!

The Vikings announced that legendary Minnesota head coach and Hall of Famer Bud Grant passed away this morning at age 95. “We, like all Vikings and NFL fans, are shocked and saddened by this terrible news,” the team said in a statement.

Probably not for long. Without a ton of cap outlay, they could easily add (for discussion) Bryce Young, Kareem Hunt, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and, say, Jalin Hyatt. Not saying a group like that would be a murderer's row, but it's probably good enough.

Breaking: Jalen Ramsey is being traded to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a 2023 third-round pick and TE Hunter Long, sources told Adam Schefter.

Trade will be processed Wednesday, when league year begins.

They’re probably grabbing one at #6, so better cap wise to bring in a rookie.

Ramsey and Howard at CB will be a great tandem to watch.

The Rams should have talked to some of the capologists around here. Don't they know you can just something something restructure something something Saints and then the cap doesn't matter anymore?

Sources: The #Patriots are trading TE Jonnu Smith to the #Falcons, as a former big-ticket free agent heads elsewhere and creates space for New England. Meanwhile, he lands with Arthur Smith, who turned him into a star.

Sources: Former Las Vegas Raiders QB Jarrett Stidham is signing a 2-year, $10M deal with the Broncos, choosing to play for Sean Payton over other options. The deal, which includes $5M guaranteed and $4M more in upside, reunites him Davis Webb – who he has known since he was a teenager.
At the moment, Raiders targeting Jimmy G

Doubtful. They are high on Jordan Love. Plus I don't think this trade saves them much money. They take on a very large dead cap hit.

Jets have to be paying a fat premium.

This isn’t 2011 Rodgers, but he can still play. Plus the dead cap hit.
