Could you imagine being the dude who agreed to put that on, looked at yourself in the mirror, then said, okay, I am going to walk out amongst the public?
Guarantee you no one he knows outside of that building knows he has that job. Not 1 person.
It's you. I know it is.

The speedo gave it away.

Nothing against Lawrence, but this was the only way the Jags were going to get a lead.

Plenty of time, Jags' defense gassed. Henry. Rinse, repeat.

What Dobbs has done is admirable. But his 2 turnovers have led to 10 Jags points in a 4 point game.

You can't even remotely hear the referee. Good on you, Jacksonville. People say it's a crap football town, but they are bringing it.

It's 4th down....Why are you throwing 6 yards behind the sticks?

Yep. Moment was way too big for him in the 4th quarter. He was trying to do too much and it led to turnovers.

Doug Pederson = COY. At least in my opinion.

Considering where this team was a year ago….just wow. Incredible turnaround. Josh Allen was being called a bust early last year. He went from bust to beast in one year’s time.

He's done an amazing job leading that team this year.

Curious about what the Titans do this offseason. Their roster is honestly not that good.

I’m happy for T. lawrence

The guy had so much hype riding on him and that can really crush some players. Seems like a nice enough humble guy. Glad he’s having some success

Jags are my #4 this postseason

This is why Dobbs, despite some legit starter talent, will never be that guy.

This is also why the Bills moved on from Tyrod Taylor even though his numbers there were very, very good. And there are lots of other guys like this, too.

Your QB has to be willing to let his nuts hang in the wind in key moments. Some guys will always throw the checkdowns when the moment comes.

They already fired the GM.

TBH, I didn't think it would happen this year, but I'm wondering if they move on from Vrabel. I think their window has closed tonight. There are MPH coming off Henry's fastball, and the cliff is likely coming soon. And yeah...it's a really bad roster. Probably the most anonymous in the NFL. My son and I saw the promo poster for tonight's game. It was Derrick Henry and Josh Dobbs, and it sort of HAD to be Dobbs because who else would it be? An OL? Jefferey Simmons? ETC.

Good news for them, I guess, is that they have a lot of contracts they can shed this offseason to kick-start a rebuild, if they go that direction. Tannehill, Bud Dupree, Robert Woods, and Zach Cunningham - all major underachievers - would save them $50 million.

TL at this stage owes his success to Pederson and his teammates. Tonight kind of showed he's not ready to carry a team on his shoulders just yet. The game was decided by a combination of the Jags defense stepping up in a major way and the real Joshua Dobbs standing up. TL had opportunity after opportunity to take over but he made some of the worst possible throws that kept points off the board.

If the Jags are to go deep in these playoffs it'll be because of their defense and Pederson outcoaching the opposition.

The Giants are starting Davis Webb III today and resting Daniel Jones and Saquan Barkley, amongst others. Seems smart. Rest your key players, lower the chance of injury, etc.

But our "yOu PlAy tO wIn thE gaMe" mentality probably made Mike Ditka smile, so there's that.

I mean, he played poorly last night, but he also accounted for 30 TDs against 8 picks this season. He was 7th in passing yards and passing TDs, etc. And he was throwing to a bunch of #3 wideouts, usually behind poor line play. So maybe the whole "his defense carried him this far" rhetoric is some prisoner of the moment like stuff.

Just checked the games to be telecast in the Naples area. The 1 PM games are the NE/Buffalo game and the Miami/Jets game. No Bucs game on TV down here. What games are being telecast in the Tampa Bay area?

There's a reason this team was 2-6 at 1 point. Theres a reason they finished 1 game over. 500. There's also a reason you left out the fact that TL lost an astonishing 9 fumbles this year as well, for a total of 17 turnovers.

His performance all season has been inconsistent at best. He does something like lighting up the Chargers in LA and then follows it up with leading the offense to 6 points at home against the Texans.

He definitely helped the Jags win a number of games but he also helped them lose a few. Peterson has done an outstanding coaching job. Their defense has come on as of late. TLs numbers overall look good. But that's not telling the entire story by any means.
