4.26 seconds!!

I knew he was the fastest guy on the team last year, but I didn't know he was that fast.

Impressive stuff. Certainly catapulted his draft status, too. Good for him.
The tape isn't as great...he seemed to rely on that speed too often and misjudge...but coaching could help that. You can't teach 4.27 speed.

I’ll take him over your boy Richardson, Snake
Again, I offer the Hendon Hooker challenge.

Watch his highlight reel.

- Take the number of tight window NFL style throws he hits.
- Add the number of times he throws his receiver open with NFL level anticipation.
- Add the number of times he goes through at least 3 progressions in the pocket, boom-boom-boom.
- Then subtract the number of times he has a receiver wide open down the field and underthrows him, but the receiver comes back for it.
You'll end up with a negative number.

He's a system product, as much as any of the garbage quarterbacks turned out by Mike Leach (RIP) or Rich Rod. If he didn't play at a school that's traditionally played pro-style offense in a pro-style conference, we'd get this.

Good news for the Anthony Richardson haters. No chance we get him.

I’d love to have him on the team.

I think Richardson is going to be a force in the NFL. Maybe not right away, at least as a passer, but within 3 years he's going to be one of the elites.

Richardson could follow a similar path to Fields. Similar talent, similar rawness, but not sure he has the elite intangibles though.

Fields was way better in college than Fields. Fields completed nearly 70% of his passes with an absurd 7 to 1 TD/INT ratio. He also wasn't much of a runner in college.

Richardson doesn't even have a 2 to 1 ratio and barely completed more than 50% of his passes.

But he's 6'4 245 with 4.4 speed and a cannon of an arm. Some team will try to mold him into a quality QB like the Bills did with Allen.

Ya I’m not really comparing them as prospects rather what he could be in the pros. Last year Fields showed rushing ability rarely seen in the NFL. Like prime Vick but with size and strength. Richardson could be similar in that regard. And like Fields, Richardson does have a big arm even if he’s raw as a passer.

At the very least, he’ll be a game pass guy. A guy who will produce incredible highlights.

I need the pro day speeds in order to fill our missed needs after the top 100. That would be the six picks we got, plus pfa's.

We'll see. It'll depend on who drafts him. But today's performance kinda confirms he's not gonna be available very long.

Think he’s locked in as a top 4 pick. I’d have been intrigued by him at 19, but ya no way he makes it there.

You want to avoid wanting a QB three out of four years. Who knows of the Bucs interest of QB's in the 2024 draft.

I wonder how teams view these top 4 QBs from a value perspective. If you're say Indianapolis with the 4th pick, is there 1 guy you have way ahead of the pack of the other 3? Or are they all so close that you'll be fine sitting at 4 and taking whoever is left?

I'm not viewing this from my perspective, I think Young is by far the #1 QB with Stroud at #2 and flip a coin for #3. But I'm sure teams view them differently.

Think Indy would want the most pro ready guy and that’s Young. Probably worth it for them as they are built to win now. But they did just hire the Eagles OC so maybe they think Richardson can be a more athletic Hurts?

We knew Richardson was an elite athlete. TBH, there's nothing he can do in shorts that will raise is stock for me. I just see no evidence of pocket presence or NFL caliber accuracy. I know, Josh Allen etc. Josh Allen made him a lot of money, to be sure. But Josh Allen was the exception to many, many rules.

Agreed. But as you know, NFL teams will always try to find the exception. In a very strong sense, that's what makes the draft so intriguing and what makes the NFL what it is. Teams take risks. If it's done once, they'll try to do it over and over until it's done again.

Only correct answer.

He’ll never be Peyton Manning, but Lamar Jackson won an MVP so the path is there.

It's a copycat league. Right now grooming elite physical traits is the flavor in the NFL. Richardson could easily go #1. Either way he's likely out of reach for us now anyway.

RB class is nice. There are going to be 3 Bijan level guys coming out of this class. IDK who the other 2 are, but I'll gladly take the original.

Saw that too. Jeremiah with the immediate “that’s not his game” comment as well.

At 19 it feels like the kind of spot you want to take the elite player at the less important position anyway.

Sorry no Lamar Jackson guys

If you build a team QB first without out the structural support needed it is quite possible you will want him replaced sooner than later. We had Tom Brady and Dallas walked all over us because we could not stop their offense.
