I don't think losing a first round pick is very common so it can't be something that happens regularly. I think he is saying they found themselves in a unique situation and tried to make the best of it.

The only players that should be at the voluntary OTA's are new & fringe players. If guys like Evans, White, Godwin, David, Wirfs, or Winfield aren't there... I don't care.

I wouldn't say I trolled her, but last off-season her and I heavily debated Mayfield and his potential success on this team. I recall her disappearing sometime after the 3-1 start when everything was looking as good as (I had predicted). Granted I was also open to the idea of Caleb Williams, but I just think Baker may be one of those guys who ends up shining the second half of his career. I believe he can win a SB as long as we have the right pieces and our defense balls out.
