Generational talent at a position with high NFL predictability for prospects. Locked up for pocket change for four years. Allowing us to instantly save about $2.5 mil on the cap by cutting Pinion, which probably puts us over the top for being able to bring back both Suh and Gronk.

It makes sense to me if we don't love someone at a more traditional position.

Great punters can make a big deal on special teams. If there isn't a great DB prospect. I would definitely be ok with it.

How about Kinnard? Another OL. Lot of starting experience. Long arms, huge hands, needs some technique work but should project well as a guard. More of a one-year away from contributing type of pick. But it's getting late in this bitch.
