Goedeke is a interior blocker with a mean streak and is as smart as they come. He is stout in pass protection and finishes on run blocks. The only concern is he doesn’t have the athleticism you would like in a starting interior lineman.

The only reason we lost the NFC Championship Game was because the OL got injured. Obviously it was an OT that got hurt in Wirfs but I think that's the logic behind this pick. If Brady is protected there isn't a team in the league we can't beat.
