Best game I ever been to in a long time.
Re: Rapid Reactions: Bucs trounce defending NFC Champion Eagles 9-32
Two discarded 1st overall picks face off. A long sat late rounder that was a 'wasted pick' against Mr Irrelevant.

He also lined up offsides on their XP, so they went for 2 instead of taking the point after.

Remember when we had that 1-6 stretch and the sky was falling? Good times.

We were dreadful our last 2 games and so often we played down to our competition even in our wins. I don't know. I just wasn't confident at all. It’s honestly wild that after 11 games the Eagles were 10-1 and the Bucs were 4-7 but this is where we are now. NFL be crazy sometimes.

The joys of people knowing you're a Bucs' fan; they send you stuff like this.

If 1-1 is dreadful with A hurt qb and a Dee that was playing great, then talk to the IGGLESThese Are The Days wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 12:15 amWe were dreadful our last 2 games and so often we played down to our competition even in our wins. I don't know. I just wasn't confident at all. At all

Re: Rapid Reactions: Bucs trounce defending NFC Champion Eagles 9-32
I'll be honest, I thought we would win just because of how much the Eagles are sucking right now. That said, we didn't squeak by them, we crushed their hopes and dreams in the way a good team should when they face a weak one.
I am not convinced we beat the Lions but I am convinced we belonged in the playoffs and have at least some chance to do damage.
Now, has anyone ever beaten 3 teams they lost to in the regular season on the way to a Super Bowl appearance? It sure would be nifty to run though the Eagles, Lions and 49rs.

The first time we played them this year, we lost to the Eagles by 14 points. Today ended up winning in the playoffs by 23.
The first time we played them this year, we lost to the Lions by 14 points. In six days we play them again.
History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes. Just saying.

To go from giving up 201 rushing yards earlier in the season to 42 tonight is incredible.
Re: Rapid Reactions: Bucs trounce defending NFC Champion Eagles 9-32
Can't get over just how amazing Baker was tonight. He was throwing DIMES all game long and if not for a shit ton of drops, this could've been a legendary game.
Give him a contract extension NOW

Watching Kancey and YaYa meet in the backfield is so great. Lavonte still making huge plays. Dean underrated as hell around here, shows up in the biggest games. JTS best game as a pro?
That was fun as hell. Let's do it again.

JTS as a rotational guys is such as better player than JTS as a starter taking a majority of the snaps.

He's closing more than before but still more Almost than not. Still improving though. Same age as Yaya.

Back to back weeks, JTS has an individual play responsible for a stop in a crucial situation.IchabodCrane84 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 12:57 amJTS as a rotational guys is such as better player than JTS as a starter taking a majority of the snaps.

Don't look now but the Bucs have a YAC battle going on and it's all with newbies. Rashee Rice who I tried to see the Bucs finding him a way onto our team leads all playoff winners (I think) with 75 yards.
He is going to be a force.
