Actually, they do get incentives, for certain things, like percentage of playing time etc. (Highlights are from the article and are not mine)

Gonna be hard to beat them. That's a team that doesn't have many, if any weaknesses.

The only person who could beat them is Lamar Jackson. He hasn't been in a playoff game for a few years, let's see if he's grown up for the postseason

Looks like we could be pretty healthy heading into the post-season if we can get a win and get through this game without any injuries.

Other than Gage I don't think we've had any impact season ending injuries? And I'd say him being out has allowed us to see what Palmer has much sooner. Net positive.

I fully expect the Panthers to do defensively what the Saints did last week. Attack the LG and C positions with stunts while lining up looking like an all out blitz to confuse Mayfield.

The Panthers don't have the personnel to employ that strategy. You need someone who will command a double team at the least. They don't have that.
